Slip of the tongue or momentary confusion? In a television interview today discussing his religion, Sen. Barack Obama stated, "My Muslim faith."
Obama, speaking to ABC's George Stephanopoulos on "This Week," was talking about what he described as "smears" that were claiming he was a Muslim when he maintains he is a practicing Christian.
"Let's not play games," Obama stated. "What I was suggesting – you're absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. And you're absolutely right that that has not come."
Stephanopoulos immediately interrupted Obama, stating, "Christian faith."
"My Christian faith," Obama quickly said. "Well, what I'm saying is that he (McCain) hasn't suggested that I'm a Muslim. And I think that his campaign's upper echelons have not, either. What I think is fair to say is that, coming out of the Republican camp, there have been efforts to suggest that perhaps I'm not who I say I am when it comes to my faith – something which I find deeply offensive, and that has been going on for a pretty long time."

I'll be chatting and the issue of faith comes up and I'll just accidently say muslim instead of my true faith.
I probably should work on that, but then I'm not applying for a job where a mere slip up could have world-wide implications.
Yeah he bailed him out just like when Dan Quayle was in a room full of teachers and reporters. The all jumped in and told him how to spell potato. At least on the national six o’clock news.
He never said “57 Muslim states.”
He said, “57 ... uh, 57 states.”
The word “Muslim” did not pass his lips in that context.
Please, stick to the real ammo he’s given us, instead of the planted lines of the rabid among our side.

If you look at some Dem sites they are asking people not to look at the video so that the whole thing dies, if no one mentions it again it will be one more thing that Obama sweeps under the rug. He said it...let others see the video and decide.
He did talk about “57 States” - there are 57 Muslim States (countries).

Correct, however there are apparently 57 muslim states. I’ve never ever heard any American mistate the number of states we have in the union. NO matter how tired they are.

Nothing sticks to teflon man, you gotta use whatever ammo you have. It seems the average dem ignores or is unwilling to dig deep enough to understand any of the more complex arguments.
This is a simple one that supports many other puzzle pieces. Watch when he pronounces anything thats based in arabic. He pronounces those names like a pro. He attended a muslim school, has a muslim father, has a muslim middle name, and attends a church that hates america. What else do we need?

Speaking of attorneys, somebody on another thread (which was deleted because of posting rules) said that Obama is not a member of the bar in Illinois. Does anybody know if this is true?
He has worked as a staff attorney and taught law. You don’t need to have passed the bar to do either one. You only have to be a member of the bar if you want to submit briefs and argue in court. Any info, anyone?
Thank you for posting that. In fact, he clearly says that he meant the attacks that he is Muslim, not that he IS Muslim. I hate when the lefties do this stuff, and we should not fall into the same trap, even tho it’s easy. There is plenty about Obama that we can legitimately denounce.
