This just may be a Viking Kitty thread as well. The fur will be flying tonight and we are due for some trollage.
You made me cry.
That would be just like him, although he's still very missed here.
RODGER THAT !! in honor of Micheal Moonsoor.. and Rush and his callers should from now on use “ ROGER THAT “ in honor of Micheal Moonsoor instead of “ MEGA DITTOS “.
Isn't that one precious child?

Right now, all replays, PMSNBC is cutting down Sarah, CNN is lifting and cutting and Fox is doing interviews and showing Sarah do her awesome speech!
The American People are going to see their Marxist quislings under a bright light, and perhaps for the first time. A bold line of demarcation is about to establish itself in the body politic.
Senator John McCain needs to play his part as he did this evening: the maestro. He must not say or do anything unwise. Selecting Governor Palin is an indicator of his shrewd political sense; but it may also be a cynical calculation (I state this only in recognizing that the senator’s voting record is, more often than not, unfriendly to conservative core values) Of course John, knowing time is short, may be making his mark in history by setting up a golden age of conservatism in reparation for the harm he has previously done its cause in the past. I will give him the benefit of the doubt, even though I staunchly oppose many of his positions.
I think Governor Sarah Palin carries “the torch” for 90 percent of this country. She embodies the American soul. She represents all that is honorable and good in us. Only the enemies of true liberty scorn her achievements. So the battle lines are clearly established.
The great silent majority is watching this drama, most certainly young American women. Sarah Palin embodies their ambitions and dreams. She carries the moniker of role model 1000 times better than Hillary Clinton could even hope. Sarah is everything Hillary will never be. General George Patton once observed: Americans love a winner, and they will not tolerate a loser,” and it really is that simple. Sarah Palin epitomizes Patton’s remark. She IS what we all desire to be: the quintessential winner... the good guy with the white hat, riding atop a white stallion, coming to our rescue just in time. She is a hero in a most identifiable commonality... that of keeping faithful in dogged perseverance through life’s trials.
This is why Americans flock to movies where the good and bad are clearly defined; there is no ambiguity; the good always triumphs over the evil. This is why we so admire Sarah Palin. That great silent majority, those so long turned off by political darkness, they are about to awaken with a roar. A political Star Wars begins: The opposition has their Emperor of the Dark Side, and Lord Darth Vader. They have amassed a Clone army. They have seized control of the Republic. We have Obi Wan and Princess Leah... and a righteous cause. Some may object such comparison, but it truly is that simple.
Americans will not tolerate attacks on the Princess. She reminds us of what we all ought to be. Unless we hate ourselves and our fellow man, why would we oppose what is clearly distinguishable as good? This is the reason evil must work to discredit those who reflect so well the contrast.
The power whores know they are losing control, and they are scared to death that Americans may believe in themselves again, that our sons and daughters may actually aspire to great things without depending upon elitists to guide their thinking. Sarah Palin is Americas Joan de Arc, and the establishment is intent on immolating her before our very eyes.
“Nasty and divisive speeches” is just another way of saying “pay no attention to that woman behind the curtain... the great and powerful Oz has spoken.” But the Emerald City of green envy elitists is about to be shattered into more than 18 million pieces. The status quo of the Beltway, Broadway and Hollywood are about to witness 40 years of perverted brainwashing dissolve away. Like the crusty gunk one wipes from the eyes after wakening from a deep slumber, Americans rise to something greater than ourselves so is the time to pray much, and offer sacrifice for our country. We do penance, that God may guide those whom He destines to lead this nation: To battle, Joan Let our fight be glorious, indeed.
I thought about that during her speech -- of course she will need to do a great deal on the national scene over many years to fulfill that kind of legacy, but she has the potential.
She has a wonderful, direct speaking manner which I think will touch millions. She has already proved she is not intimidated by vicious libs all over the MSM and will talk right past them, directly to the American people, which was a great Reagan trait.
Obviously she has her own unique style and persona, but for embodying the "regular person from the heartland who has the capacity for greatness" she could well end up in the Reagan-Truman-Lincoln pantheon. Of course, to rank there in history she will have to become President, since no one thinks that way about any VP, ever. [well maybe we should think of Al Gore in that light......... JUST KIDDING, SARCASM ALERT!!!]
Really? Somebody actually thinks Rudy Giuliani is capable of embarassment? What a dingbat! These newstwits just make a woman with real brains and accomplishments look even more impressive by comparison :-).
And Rudy's speech was great.
My exact remarks were "all over but shooting the cripples," which I guess is out of date ...
LOL, I hope so.
So FReepers don’t hate Rudy Giuliani anymore?
Sarah IS our Esther of our time.
As Mordecai famously once said “ who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

That was a moment to remember.
For the record, Ron Paul was entitled to one pass to the RNC and one pass only. Paul wanted 4 passes for his entourage, and was turned down. Sounds fair to me.
Welcome back RepubMommy!!
And the fun part is, I have every faith she will be president, she may have the chops to beat Hillary!
