I make this post to you all with great sadness.

I just received a note from OESY, requesting that I let you know about his beautiful wife, Susan. Here are his words:

“Susan’s long ordeal with hemorrhagic dementia came to a close last night at 1:20 am, September 22, 2008. A lovely flame has extinguished; her work on Earth has ended. She was a beautiful angel—who led a rewarding life, a life devoted to healing pain in others, a life that was taken from her sooner than she wished or deserved.”

I saw yorkie’s post to you about the loss of your wife Suasan after long illness. I understand how you feel OESY as I too have lost my wife, but as I am very good at expressing myself in these cirumstances I found this poem whose author I do not know that but whose sentiments are what I would feel when my time comes and I am sure your dear Susan would feel the same.

To Those I Love and Those Who Love Me

When I am gone, release me, let me go.
I have so many things to see and do.
You must not tie yourself to me with tears.
Be happy we had so many years.
I gave you my love and you can only guess how much you gave to me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have shown but now it's time I traveled on alone.
So grieve awhile for me if grieve you must.
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It's only for awhile that we must part so bless those memories in your heart.
I won't be far away for life goes on.
So if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can't see me or touch me,
