Lovely job on the Oregon Graphic. Hi, Maj, - I didn't think about anyone crediting me with that graphic - it's actually MamaBear's - I just copied her opening for her Oregon thread - pretty, isn't it?
Gosh, wonder why you liked it?! Couldn't be the colors, I'm sure. :)

That may be the absolute prettiest sunrise I’ve ever seen - those rocks in the forefront look like copper gleaming! It is gorgeous!

Amy, your celebration graphics for Saturday are fantastic! I’m so impressed you took the time to get those together, with the FR picnic coming up a few hours later. Hope that you all had the best one yet! Anxious to hear a report, and hope Jim was feeling pretty good!

Thank you big time for posting the thread yesterday. It took a heavy load off my shoulders. I'm glad I could do it - so glad that you saw my post so soon and wrote me! Was really late getting the holidays posted, but got 'em done anyway. :)

Thanks, Maj - the picture was in a collection of 'photos' I purchased, and I originally just put the soft vignette and added the Amy's Place text, so it was much smaller than the one reworked for this thread. I no longer had the original photograph and only had the 'soft-vignetted' pic as it was posted at Amy's the 'first time around' to work with this time - so the 'tweaking' was just adding some frames/borders to it.
I'm still crazy about your poem, Bob, and the love in that couple's eyes for each other!
Thank you, PGalt and yorkie, for the sentiments you expressed, too. :)

A tribute to honor Grandpa's everywhere: (warning - kleenex necessary) Oh. :(
Well, you did warn us. Very moving, very emotional, and the tears did flow.

For those people on dial-up who are having a problem with graphics on a page who are using IE, they can go to Tools, select Options, then select the Advanced Options tag and in the Multimedia section uncheck Show images.
No graphics will be shown just little colored dots in a square.

Compliments Given Here
Each ones praise will come from God. 1 Corinthians 4:5
Artist Tom Greaves knows how to give compliments. He designed a bright red-and-white-striped box for an art exhibit in Washington, DC, called The Compliment Machine. As people walk by, the machine dishes out compliments from an internal iPod. It says things like, Your eyes are beautiful, You smell good, and People are drawn to your positive energy.
Greaves wont say what his motive is for the box, other than that its in response to a saccharine culture in which everyone is special and nobody is criticized, regardless of performance.
Everybody loves to hear a compliment now and then; that is, if its genuine. It makes us feel good about ourselves to have the approval or admiration of othersfor a few minutes at least. The apostle Paul, though, looked at what others thought of him or even what he thought of himself as a very small thing (1 Cor. 4:3). He said, He who judges me is the Lord (v.4). He knew that one day our hearts will be revealed, and then each ones praise will come from God (v.5).
Could there be any greater compliment than this from our heavenly Father when we meet Him: Well done, good and faithful servant (Matt. 25:23).
What joy twill be to hear Him say,
Rejoice, My child, well done!
Youve fought the battles there on earth,
The victors crown youve won. Sherbert
