Meg, thank you for your lovely Sunday posts, and I know you are so happy to see your kids safe and sound in your home.

It's so very sad to see all the destruction Ike left as it roared through Texas and Louisiana and continued it's wrath through the midwest. I just feel so bad for all those homes and buildings that have been destroyed, and the lives lost along the way. Prayers continue.

Here is a youtube of crashes in a Russian tunnel that supposedly happened over a 24 hour period. Surely they all aren't women drivers, but some may be. Apparently, this tunnel goes under a river and water leaks in and freezes on the road. Maybe they should slow down???

LOL. Could be. I will let you know after our maiden camping trip mid October to Lake Tahoe. I am not much for "roughing it". Of course the motorhome we are taking has every amenity. We shall see. I think I will either love it or hate it. It will be the dogs first camping experience too. This should be interesting. Most dogs would love camping, but my dogs are such big babies. I have no idea how this is going to go. :-)
