I figured you would have answered it before I got mine posted. :) I really wanted a close-up of Presley's face, but didn't keep looking once I found that smaller picture.

My daughter and son in law are just north of Houston ..My son in law had knee surgery this morning..They are not able to leave and come here..My daughter is chronically ill and very sensitive to heat..The power will go off for sure...
I am praying they will be safe and can get here later if the power goes ..when it is safe to drive...

We will get some of Ike but I am about 2 and 1/2 hours from Houston.
Prayers for all in harm’s way.

Thank you, Billie..I have placed them in God’s hands..They cannot travel..sigh.
We have had a few sprinkles ..no real rain..We have tropical winds forecast for Saturday but I believe the path will veer northeast once it hits the coast.

I loved all the close-ups of all the dogs - they were each unique and special and the camera man must have been a dog lover, too - just dont see how one could get those expressions if you didn't love dogs! Some of the first ones to go, we didn't get to know very well.

I also liked Bill and Star a lot; and Tillman, the English bulldog, was so full of personality he just made me smile all over.

Now, I really DO have to go! Hugs!

My brother’s home is in Seabrook...right in the path. I got a call from him this evening, and he said it doesn’t look good and that they will probably get a storm surge that will flood their home. They are presently staying with their son north of Houston.

God be with ALL the people in the area that are in harm’s way! May He be with your family,too, Megs!
