Lame stream news is just that, LAME.
I just can’t/won’t watch a second of their spew.GRRRRRRR.
Storming heaven with prayers for you and all your loved ones and friends. Take care!!!!!!!
Mmmmm, that sounds good.
Hello-I visited here a few weeks ago, but then got busy with end of summer stuff and only lurked. I am in Eastern Washington. Your Oregon info and what’s going on in your life posts are always so much fun to read.
Excitement here at our house about Sarah Palin.
How is your eye?
Hi Jemian! Hope you are feeling lots better today. The sprite is a nice touch to your cranberry juice.
I’ve been wondering where you were. It’s about time you showed up. I do know how it is ~~ sometimes life gets in the way of freepin’.
That’s for sure. Hope to be around a little more. Husband (teacher) heads back to work this week and daughter, also, so I start babysitting for the two grandsons again. I can freep a little while they are busy playing. New grandson hasn’t arrived yet.
Take care—drink lots of that cranberry/sprite to get well. Better go and try and look busy at least.
I too am excited about Sarah Palin! The fact that the Eleanor Clifts of the world are wringing their hands is a GOOD sign!
I am in Nehalem OR - between Tillamook and Astoria. Where are you located in E WA?
Thanks for the story highlights. I’m certain the drive by media will try to inflate and skew it as much as possible, all the while sticking their fingers in their ears and shouting “la-la-la!” about all of Ding Dong’s highly questionable dealings and associations.
We are back at approx 9200 feet, going to spend the night on one of the sites we looked at. There seems to be a front passing through as is cooler today, still need sweatshirt and rain is expected. We’ve been turning the heat pumps on to take the chill off of the mornings but may need to run them during the night.
Anyway, our longer treks toward our next destination have been postponed for a day or so.
Prayers for all in the way of Gustav.
I just heard that changes are being made at the RNC. Could you give us your viewpoint?
At this moment, I have my fingers crossed because Dell might have repaired my computer...time will tell.
I was NOT happy that it had to be taken back to the way it was shipped from the factory. I do have all of my data backed up on the external hard drive and grandson Jake will help me get it back on Tuesday. But, for now, I can FREEP and that is good enough for me :-)Prairie, we used to love the Colorado mountains - so beautiful there! Any chance of that rain turning to snow? It is quite cool here on the beautiful north Oregon coast this morning. Andy and Charlie would love a fire but I have reminded them that it is still AUGUST and to suck it up!
Hey Bev!!! Did you know that Nehalem spelled backwards is...Male Hen??? ;-))
I may have to restore mine back to factory condition, also.
BLTs for lunch with fresh juicy tomatoes from the garden. Yummy!!
now there is an oxymoron :-)
OHMYGOONESS! I have just been in a melt down over this computer. Remember, I bought this new one because I was afraid the 8 year old Dell was going to crash. It is still just humminging along beautifully - it is this new one that is turning my hair white! ahem, that would be whiter :-)
What is wrong with your computer?
Please keep me in your prayers. Things aren’t going quite smoothly.
I was discharged on Friday afternoon. The docs felt they were on the right track with this infection, my wbc was in normal ranges; I think it was an 8; my fever was consistently below 100. At that point I still felt awful but went with the doc evaluations. They did tell me discharge was up to me.
But last night the pain in the kidneys returned and my temp started rising again. I switched from drinking water to cranberry juice and went to bed. Right now, I’m watching the symptoms and debating whether or not to call the doc. So far, I’ve decided not to interrupt their Sunday.
Thank you for asking. Please pray for discernment as to when I need additional medical help or not.
No, it’s not.
But it raises a question - is there a problem with and HP all-in-one on a Vista operating system?
Inquiring minds want to know :-) I am already spooked enough that I am not going to reinstall the printer until I have HP solutions help me on Tuesday. Any thoughts from you all?
I use Vista and an HP all-in-one and I have never had a problem.
Those overseas techs are not all that good. They have to stick to a script, cannot think out of the box and have a cultural need to resolve a problem even if they can’t find the answer. Therefore, they’ll blame something else, i.e. the printer compatibility, rather than say that they’re stymied.
