You don’t have to be a chemist or even a scientist to know the vaporization temperature of iron and it’s compounds and the temperature of the photosphere.

They identified Calcium Ferrite, not pure iron. I would guess this has more of a ceramic property than metallic.

I do not know how these elements and compounds will behave in the Sun because we cant replicate the environments they are operating in.

My main point is new technology has alluded that the Sun is probably more complicated than the Hydrogen/Helium gas ball model that science has used for so many years.

I take it you still buy into the classic Hydrogen/Helium gas ball model for the Sun?

Everything is more complicated than it's model, that's the reason for models, to make the complicated easier to understand by simplification.
The composition of the sun is about 98% hydrogen and helium by mass and less than 1% iron.
Actually it's not considered a gas but rather plasma which is not too difficult to produce. And most importantly for the discussion it exists at a temperature that no solids can exist, not ceramics or iron or any combination thereof. That being the case I don't have to buy into anything to reject out of hand notions of a solid “rigid” surface sun. The latest and best technology doesn't support such an idea either despite the fact that much remains unknown about the sun and despite the claims of Manuel and the web page that parrots him.
