Can someone help?
Good morning, Undead FRiends. I missed everything last night - went to Girl Scout leaders’ meeting, came home and had soup and toast, glass of wine and went to bed. If the world comes to an end, someone will have to wake me up and tell me.
My foot hurts!
I hate it when that happens.
What happened to your foot?
I tripped over Vlad on Tuesday and injured my toe. It might be broken.
I have big plans for tomorrow involving sleeping.
Oh, No!
Is it still sandal weather there?
Yes, 80’s every day. It’s not really swelling, so it might not be broken. But it’s purple and it hurts.
That is unfortunate.
I hope it feels better soon.
Off to the showers......
Morning, Ladies. I see that you’re posting on a Friday, which means you survived yesterday.
Not too sure about me...I didn’t go to bed when I should have, and as a result, I was wired until almost midnight. *sigh*
I’ll pay for it.
In other news, it was 66 degrees when I woke up!
About the same here, and it’s in the mid-70’s now. Anoreth’s off to the drag-races :-). She called me on somebody’s cell phone because the students under age 18 needed a permission slip, only the instructor didn’t have the permission slips until today. I told the instructor she could sign “Tax-chick, by Anoreth” with my verbal approval.
I have to meet last year’s Junior Girl Scout leader at the bank after lunch. Fortunately it’s a nearby branch. I’m looking forward to lunch - since I didn’t have supper until 9:30 last night, I skipped breakfast!
Good morning!
60F here.
It’s only supposed to be in the 90’s today, which is OK, but it’s long-sleeves for me, for sure. Even outdoors.
I had plans, but none of them are important. Just chores. The biggest is to finish cleaning up the patio. The wind had destroyed two tarps, and my Turkish rug got wet, so I don’t know what it will look like when I unroll it. *sigh* I hope there is no mildew on it. (Does goat wool mildew?)
Anyway, I have to take all the debris from the winds and and get it to the Dumpster so I can have more room out there. And I still have to get a third tarp. Man. I’ve forgotten what’s in all the tubs, though they are numbered and the contents for each number are listed in a book.
That will be the high point today. Unless I can get someone to come and put the brake pads on. How much fun is this, I ask?
Well, good luck! Wednesday just arrived to tell me the food bowl is empty. She’s very emphatic.
Yes. Catz must be obeyed! C&H let me sleep this morning, but the phone rang and woke us all up. The catz were not amused.
Shannon’s gone upstairs to think about the gerbil, I believe, but Wednesday can’t rest with an empty bowl! I’d better put a dress on to go to the bank; I wore these shorts and the Free Republic t-shirt yesterday.
Almost as soon as I get in the door, and I know I’m not going out again, I strip to the barest minimum. If I wear something “two days” it’s because I probably really only wore it two or three hours.
Catz have gone back to bed. They’ve decided the birds are too much effort to watch this morning.
I wore a dress to the meeting last night, so these clothes didn’t go “the whole day.” And I didn’t get any food on the shirt!
LOL!
Life is good!
Friend of mine just posted my coffee brewing instructions..
We’ll wait to see if someone threatens a lawsuit..
Er....I’ve had your “coffee.” It smells like bilges and tastes like sewing machine oil.
*snark*
