Can someone help?
Good night, all.

Not been an easy weekend, trying to finish a powerpoint due tomorrow) for my talk in Las Vegas next month — trial run at home today (well-received *\;-), domestic duties taken care of, and of course other issues. I’m quite tired and gone for the night.
I think I’m up to 10, counting bedroom slippers. Only I might have thrown those away at the end of last winter, which makes 9 until I buy a new pair the first time I get up with cold feet.
I’ll be praying for your sister and brother-in-law. What a sad thing.
LOL!
I get tired of looking at my shoes and boots, which is the only reason I replace them!
I think we’re ALL going to have to “count Alaska in there,” no matter what we’re figuring.
:oþ
Since I’m cramped for space, most of my shoes are in storage tubs.
I can hardly wait to find them! It will be like new shoes!
I seldom wear slippers. I think if I had bare floors, I would. But with carpeting, meh...
Our floors have a high level of debris, so the slippers help protect my feet. I just had a collision with Vlad a few minutes ago - don’t think I broke my toe, but it hurts.
I’m always running into things with my feet, so I adopted a habit of looking down when I walk. Since I have neuropathy in my feet, I’ve often hurt them without knowing until I saw blood.
If I have slippers on, my feet get too hot and sweaty, and I don’t like the way they feel. So it’s usually socks for me. Or sandals.
Morning, all. Thanks for your prayers. Waiting to hear the situation...
We’ll wait with you.
*HUG*
Thanks. Meantime work continues... updated and submitted my powerpoint, booked a “lunch & learn” engagement for it here tomorrow, and a few other minor items before I dig into whatever’s next up.
Hi ‘Face (and everyone else). Thought I’d jump in for a bit before the hectic day begins and give you all an advance notice on something (ok, two things). First of all, the first stop (Cedarburg, WI) of the McCain/Palin campaign last Friday was sort of near where I live, and someone I know got to go. I didn’t because of school and other things, but that won’t happen again. Anyways, my friend took some nice pictures of the candidates, Cindy McCain, and some SS guys, and my friend gave me permission to post them here on FR. Look for them later this week, when my school and work schedule permit a posting.
The second thing is this: some of you know about my frustrating car troubles. The engine cradle of my Olds broke, and the mechanic said it couldn’t be fixed, so I bought another (older) car. That car had to have a muffler put on it a week after I bought it.
Today I called another mechanic for a second opinion, and he said he could easily fix the first car for about $200. That means later this week, I’ll have two working cars. Yay! My mom was pleased as well.
I need to go freshen up, stop by my church and do things for my ministry internship, then go to class. Talk to you later.
That’s good news! Good luck.
Hi! I got Tom’s uniform updated, and now I have to do Bill’s. They have a meeting tonight.
My toe is getting bigger, but not turning black (yet). Maybe it’s not broken. Good thing I wasn’t planning to run this week anyway.
Good news!
All things come to he who waits.
(And prays!)
Maybe it’s just sprained. Or cracked. Either way, I’d tape it to the toe next to it for as long as it takes!
I’m having some chocolate mint cocoa, to see if I can settle the tummy down and stop the pain. It’s got to be food poisoning. Again.
If it works, I’ll lay low the rest of the day, then reschedule my plan to fit tomorrow. I’m disappointed that I couldn’t go today, but....tomorrow may be better.
:o])
Now it’s turning purple.
ERK!
Tape it! QUICK!
I’m going to have some more cocoa and go to bed. This time, it will be hazelnut!
See you tomorrow!
