Normal isn’t what it use to be. Normal is pretty weird now a days. At one point in my life I was content with being “adnormal’ One would take the basic principle of normal and adding to it things like morals, common sense, intelligence (not related to education) and being able to wait your turn in line. This is no longer an option in that many of the basic principles of normal are conflict with common sense and other moral values. I am more and more becoming acquainted with my old friend abby.

Onions and peanut butter, what a sandwich, this is an event that would need to be outside in a light wind.

The “U” is not for “University.” It’s for “Undead!”

...

Ah so. (Robt nods in knew understanding mode.)

As long as the castle's colors are not orange and white (Utexas and Utennesee’ color schemes get a bit monogamous fer mah tastes) it sounds OK fer reonion. With peanut butter. (Adding bananannana on that peanut butter and onion sandwich would tend to plug the gap and minimize airfluence.)

"As long as the castle's colors are not orange and white ..."

I don't recall our having discussed or settled on the matter of a flag, or colors for the castle.

It would be nice to have pennants and such flying in the breeze, except that we have very little in the way of such breezes.

There is a steady flow of air that follows morning around. The dissimilar heating environments of adjacent Habitats makes that possible.

We could have some light silk pennants or flags fluttering in that.

The other issue is that we don't currently have diplomatic relations with anyone. No embassy in Switzerland or New Zealand, for instance.

This isn't much of a problem because we also don't have trade or immigration. Perhaps we should consider setting something up. Besides incrementing our biological diversity, and making sure we have a steady supply of the necessities of life, (chocolate and beer), we could make a tidy profit sending out our surplus Ben Wa balls, and other manufactures.

I like onion sandwiches with mustard.

DP bought me a Bissell handheld steam-cleaning beeber to clean the furniture where my grimy family sits. And catz. And dragons, and a snake. Vlad decided it was his birthday present, and now he wants cake.

I’ll steam-beeb something after the byos go to bed.

Hey...In that case, why don’t we poll the Undeaders and see if they would like an ensign. If nothing else, we could fly it from the Piping Deck by the observatory. Since we are limited on “breezes” we could stabilize it like the moon flag.

Turquoise field, castle silhouette in silver, three stars for the habitats....

Any ideas?

Wanna ping the crew?

I like it, but I think it needs some rings. And maybe a Dust Bunny.

LOL!

We could also make “badges” for the different areas, much like Star Trek did. A Dust Bunny badge would mean you were certified in beeber stuning, and could enter all but the lowest levels.

Now we just need to know how to make a moose with cheese eating a sister...that would fall under navigation, wouldn’t it?

Vlad’s trying to get down because he wants to jump in the sand pit again, not because I ate an onion sandwich for breakfast that day. And Bill always looks like that. He stopped smiling when he turned 13.

Ahem. Perhaps Mr. Tax-chick also loves onions. I'm just guessing.

The proof is in the pudding, as they say.

We do enjoy garlic-heavy meals together. Outsiders might notice a peculiar odor ...

Flying slik ensigns would be a good idea - and the design sounds beautiful! - but I'm a bit leery of any flying Lieutenants.

(And flying captains are all weigh too heavy to be held overhead - without hardhats on those suspended below.)
