I read in the local paper that the troops have been contributing much more $$ to Obama than McCain. That surprised me, and made me wonder “why?”
If any of you are bored with some TV programs or have rain, try TCM. Plenty of Fred Astaire movies on today.
12 year old troublemaker! (ha) maybe have had some problems with daddy to be!
Awaiting the Christmas cakes to be cooked and then going to get the weekend shopping - must make a list first though
Hi snugs. That pic...looks chilly out there.
Could be. Good morning.
You may have one the prize in this impromptu contest.
It will be 41 for us in Sept.
WON not One.
We began about three years ago to downsize the herd...and have sold all of the females to some Llama fans. With the loss of W we’re down to 2 males. We’ve decided we want to do some travelling and other things, with animals to care for those things are not possible.
We had the prettiest blue pidgeon adopt the chickens at the ranch. It walked around with them, ate with them, at night had it’s spot on the roost. I got a kick out of watching it. I threw back it’s head like a rooster and made a funny cooing noise. One day I saw it fly out of the coop and across the highway. It never came back. It stayed with the chickens about 5 or 6 months, then left.
Hello snugs. Is it raining in the picture? It looks cool in London.
It was chilly though, coming back the wind was still there but the rain had stopped though by the time we got back to Waterloo is was to me cold and I was glad to get back to the train station.
Christmas cakes out of the oven now off to get weekend shopping, dinner tonight is going to be late.
Proof read Till, proof read I threw back= IT threw back...
Oh snugs, those Christmas cakes look WONDERFUL. I usually do our Christmas Fruitcake the middle of October, so it can mellow and absord the rum and brandy. I make a few for presents, some have brandy and some rum. I put a cored apple in the center and keep about 3 tablespoons of brandy or rum in the core until the beginning of November, then it just mellows till Christmas.
I noticed you had your parka on - and looked chilly.
GREAT photos, btw.
