President Bush tells Putin, The Cold War is over. The days of satellite states and spheres of influence are behind us.
Ah!! True love! A Poulsbo, WA woman was jailed after being accused of beating up her fiance at their prenuptial party because her 12 year old son saw him kissing another woman.
Michael Phelps ties Mark Spitz with seven gold medals in swimming. Saturday the 100 meters butterfly was eeked out by Phelps.
Thanks Dog. The other day you said you changed companies? Are you no longer in the food stores?
Does anyone think nobama will pick hillary for vp in order to “keep harmony” in the democRAT party?
From what I’ve read, poor nobama is going to be the last speaker and he’ll not be in the arena but at the football field. First x-42 then hillary, then ??? then the crescendo—drum roll—hoot-n-hollerin’, clappin’ and out steps nobama complete with teleprompter.
I’ve thought that about a Hillary veep slot, till.
Hope not, as I don’t think McCain / Lieberman.....or whoever....could beat them.
I was reading the posts and I am very encouraged to read our ATRWers' great comments about McCain's outstanding performance. I, like yourself, cannot bear to watch, because I cannot stand to see or hear that arrogant, abysmal, dangerous candidate the CRAT desperately wants to rule America.
That would be my conclusion as well. But I live in a conservative pocket of San Diego County, and sometimes trust too much. I was putting it out there to see if anyone else has heard that, or the opposite.
That said, my “pocket” is changing. We’re being encroached upon by more and more libs.
Let me clarify one thing for you. All of the speakers are going to speak in the Pepsi Center (where the Denver Nuggets and CO Avalanche play), with the exception of THE ONE, who finds it beneath himself to speak to the smaller crowd in the Pepsi Center. He has to make himself above all others for his miraculous, tribulation-rendering appearance at Invesco Field at Mile High (where the Broncos play) to ~80,000 screaming, worshipping idiots. On that evening, the city is going to shut down the most critical arterial in the area, I-25 (which goes right by Invesco), for 5.5 hours and cause a garguantian traffic jam for commuters.
Colorado has turned from a solid red state to purple and now is more blue than ever. One of the theories is that it is due to all the lib transplants that came from CA in the 90's.
Thanks for the digest bev. I hope those pundits are correct on this one. I am hoping for total and complete pandemonium on the floor of the Pepsi Center. I have a few law enforcement friends and they are all DREADING the whole thing.
Yes I’m still in the grocery business....just changed chains.
LET’S JUST HOPE HE PICKS THE RIGHT vp!!
Howdy all, rain, rain and rain some more here and needless
to say we are looking south, don’t trust weather folks anymore. I did get the back cut yesterday and hopefully can finish off the front tomorrow but don’t think I will make that ‘cut’ cause rain is in the forecast tomorrow.
I just wanted to check in and tell all I am still here but sore from coughing but things are looking up (health wise)
for me.
Talk to ‘youse guys’ in the A.M.
Toby
How in the world can nobama and his crew have so much power to close down an Interstate highway for 5.5 hours?
They just issue the order and it is done.
Rav, that was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!
I’m afraid though, that which was begun in 1930 with the New Deal by FDR and reinforced by LBJ in 1965 with The Great Society has allowed some individuals the ability to live off the public trough without having to learn about our country or lift a helpful finger to live in this here. We have many who quit working generations ago and live much like they did then. I think the democrats have done this country a great disservice with their free give aways and encouragement of sloth
hmmm...proof,proof READ “a helpful finger to live’ (in this) here”
A bigger chain, better hours, more money? I’m nosey.
Yes,Yes.No.
I bought some extra popcorn boxes, just in case the fun begins at the Pepsi Center and even at the football field. I pity the police though, they’d be right in the middle of it trying to calm things down. Would be fun to watch, from here, though.
If all hades breaks loose, and only in that case, will I want to tune in pray that this horrible socialist party destroys itself on national TV.
