I need advice in establishing a Celebrity chef or television chef ping list.
There is an existing food ping list though I'm not sure how active it is. This would not be a place for the exchange of recipes though if that were to happen I wouldn't have an issue with it.
The main purpose would be the diversion from more serious matters to discuss television food personalities and news of interest to "foodies": Rachel Ray, Anthony Bourdain, Bobby Flay, Mario Batali, Jacques Pépin, Paula Deen and so on.
TOPICS: Food
KEYWORDS: chefs; food; foodie; foodies; freeperkitchen

"I miss Justin." The first time I ever saw Justin Wilson his "shtick" got on my nerves and I changed the channel. It was only after he passed away and I saw some of his shows in reruns that I realized how gifted he was.

Kirkwood I think that all sounds good. Would you like on the TV Chef Ping List?

Hebert was walking down the road with a hawk slung over his shoulder. Boudreaux asks, “Hey Hebert, what you gonna do with that hawk?”
Hebert says, “I gonna make me some hawk Gumbo”.
Boudreaux asks, “What that hawk gumbo tastes like?”
Hebert says, “Bout the same as Owl gumbo”.

http://cookingwithchefcarlo.com/index.html New link to Chef Carlo's site.
It looks like cookingwithcarlo.com was grabbed by a squatter while he was ill.
He did post a couple of times in April ...
Prayers that all is well.

Me 2 please!
I don’t know how to set it up or I’d offer help but I’m thinking it’s a great idea!

The Food Network is my favorite channel. I love to cook. Please add me to this list if you get it established. My favorite cooks are Paula Deene, Emeril, Rachael Ray and Anthony Bourdaine.

Fell in love with the Food Network when I was sick over New Years and stuck in bed — watched the Next Iron Chef marathon, then Kitchen Nightmares then Feasting on Asphalt. Totally hooked - there is so much more than recipes to this genre. Consider me in!

Good Gravy, timsbella! Were the channel up/down buttons on your remote broken?
You didn’t watch Cash Cab the whole time you were sick? Or Monk reruns? None of the judge shows?
;-)

I've added you both to what I suspect will be a low volumn ping list. It should be fun. Thanks.

Sister, did she have help? When my sister visited last she programmed my GPS to Moo every time I pass near a restaurant. She worked alone so I wasn't a conspiracy.
I can make Mac & Cheese with out a blue box.

AW - please add me to that ping list. At least then I may have someone to whine with about how the Food Network has seriously gone downhill in recent months (my DH just doesn’t care - and neither do the cats).

I am one for the list as long as there are NO positive references to:
Gordon Ramsey (tired of him).
Emeril (over him).
Sarah Molton (No comment needed).
Kat (so what!!).
Bobbi Flay ( so over).
I would recommend all Giatta (sp?) all the time.
