Mmmmm, I can almost smell it!
What the heck is that on the bbq, Cardy?
Looks like you’re roasting dog. :P
Speaking of dogs, I love the pic where the little black dog is watching the guys cut up the meat. I hope the little guy got his share too. :)
I made a mistake in that post (think it was to Nan) but corrected it after, it should have been on grilled peaches. A couple of posts before that one shows how to grill the peaches....sorry I messed you up. It was one of those things I got from the internet when I was looking for peach graphics. After you oiled and grilled the peaches, you sprinkled blue cheese and honey over them.
I could not tell you if it would be good or not! I’m wild enough to try it sometime!
Oesy, you make me laugh so hard~~~you’re crazy and we love it!
Thank you Mama_Bear. I do these for relaxation, it’s easier on my back than sewing. I have always had to create, but as you get older you have to pick and choose to suit your body. ;)
I have been avoiding the sewing room for three days at least. Tomorrow is cooking and feeding family day. We’re having a family get-together, but it won’t be as fancy as Cardhu’s. My mouth is watering looking at that Lamb, sigh.
No in Spain we don´t eat dogs that is China. These are lambs and yes the two dogs got their share.
That black dog is so good he never bothers anyone at the table the little dog that one of them brought is a pain in the neck scaring one of the women touching by her under the table - lol
Lori, she added on a later post to “drain the pineapple well”.
I just snuck on here to ‘creep’ around and when I started reading...hooked again. I am going to have to go to store!
Love what you all are doing today...its wonderful! See ya later.
That's exactly the same reasons I do it. It's a wonderful creative outlet and the great thing about it is, Amy lets me post my "creations" here. She thinks I am doing her a favor by creating some of her opening graphics for her, but it is actually the other way around. LOL. If not for Amy's Place, I would have no place to hang my "stuff". ;-)
Enjoy your family get-together tomorrow.
Lori, on that recipe, I thought it would be good to take some sweet marachino cherries halved, patted with paper towels and sprinkle on top of the pineapple before the Cool Whip. Then if you wanted to sprinkle the top with chopped nuts you could!
Wow.....you know how much I love Lamb done that way. My glands are salivating.
Nice pics, and everyone looks great. You people never seem to age, lol.
Cardy, my pics could be a lot better if I did the looong renders, but I just can’t get into that. A couple hours is about my limit. When it says, for a certain size, 20-30 hours, I start going down on the quality and size of them really fast, lol.
Hey we do what we have to do... I notice someone missing in your pics...I hope I’m wrong?
Gosh, I sure did love that! Do you stay up all night looking for stuff?? ~LOL~
Yes, I can’t wait to put together that pie. I think my husband is looking forward to it too. I told him that Nan gave me the recipe for that pie he liked so much and his eyes lit up and he nearly trampled me trying to get to the kitchen asking “so there’s one in the refrigerator, right?” He was real disappointed to find out I haven’t even been to the store yet. LOL
If you promise to be good and not cry on the roller coaster yacht!
Yep. Nan put cherries on hers, don't remember if they were on the top or layered. She says you can play around with the recipe and pretty much layer it how you want. Gosh, I really do need to get to the store and get one whipped up.
I am not real fond of graham cracker crusts, but I don't see why it wouldn't be just as good with a regular baked pie crust. I think I am going to try that.
I must agree with Derly - that was the first thing I thought - because of the long tails on those critters. Lambs have short little stubby tails. Oh, well - I guess they could be large opossums.................;-)
If it’s on a boat and on water - I’m all in! (Promise I’ll behave. You DO supply ‘barf’ bags, don’t you?)
Oh I hope she doesn’t mind my posting one once in awhile. I frame one now and then, but I try to put them upstairs, lol.
I love the art-work you folks do on here, and I always check out the software you use. I’m a Software Junky, sigh.
Have you ever seen so many women in love with a pie before~~LOL~~
I want one too and will probably do one sometimes next week!
If I don’t get off here, I will never finish and get to the store.
If they ask for 20-30 hours I would do the same thing too gran. Even an hour would boher me.
No everyone is accounted for no more people have passed away.
I was thinking she said to put the cherries or nuts on top the Cool Whip but I could be wrong...as I always say, it wouldn’t be the first time..(only the second) yeah......
