Lori, on that recipe, I thought it would be good to take some sweet marachino cherries halved, patted with paper towels and sprinkle on top of the pineapple before the Cool Whip.

Yep. Nan put cherries on hers, don't remember if they were on the top or layered. She says you can play around with the recipe and pretty much layer it how you want. Gosh, I really do need to get to the store and get one whipped up.

I am not real fond of graham cracker crusts, but I don't see why it wouldn't be just as good with a regular baked pie crust. I think I am going to try that.

I was thinking she said to put the cherries or nuts on top the Cool Whip but I could be wrong...as I always say, it wouldn’t be the first time..(only the second) yeah......
