Will issue a freeper challenge. In addition to my monthly will donate an additional $10.00 for every freeper pet picture posted. (One pet per freeper...fair is fair :o) ) Deadline, 24 hours from now.
Am doing this in memory of Rusty....our beloved Ridgeback we found on FR 4 years ago....a California freeper neighbor of the dog put out an appeal on FR to rescue him from a LA shelter. He was the most expensive "pound puppy" one could have...shipping him to Ohio...having to fence in the yard...he had a thing for walking through screens...and on and on and on. But what a wonderful four years we had with him. He died peacefully of lymphoma 2 months ago. I'll try to post a link to the thread I did about him at the Finest a few years ago.

What a cute dog!
Gizmo has been (well all our pups have been) our "gifts from god". He literally showed up at our back door patio. Woke me up one morning throwing his little filthy body at our screened patio door. I opened it and he started running around the house in circles. We put ads in the newspaper, contacted the Humane Society and after a few weeks were thrilled when nobody claimed him. Hate that he's now 14 but that's 14 wonderful years we've had with him.

She’s a Boxer. Didn’t keep any puppies but we keep in touch with the owners. The little brown one became a show ring winner.

I didnt see this post, I know I am too late for 10 to thon, but wanted to post pic of my litle dog anyway, lol. He is a rescue dog and a joy to our life.
