I can't believe the kids at school were expected to tolerate his sexual harassment, either.
Another victim of the gay agenda, IMO. Once the adults are thoroughly taken in, we move on to the children, I guess.
Wow! They got it down to a decimal point. That is some real dedicated studying there, studiers.
A tragedy, but I can understand how the young, immature shooter might be provoked if he was hit on by the sexually confused boy.
The homosexual boy should have been disciplined or prosecuted for sexual harassment.
The kid was obviously starved for attention, like so many other kids his age. This does NOT mean that he should be killed just because some mouth breather hated his lifestyle.
(Lawrence) "King, 15, was declared brain-dead and was expected to be taken off a ventilator late Thursday so organs could be removed for donation... King was shot in the head early Tuesday in a classroom full of students at E.O. Green Junior High School."
After reading the article...being a distracting gay was the least of his problems.
I think your analysis is right on the money.
This is such an incredibly sad story. Both these kids came from absolutely horrible homes. There were teachers who were truly concerned about the victim but, sadly, there were others only interested in using him to promote an agenda.
It only proves to me that many public school districts are out of control. Search all you like for individual right or wrong in this case, but it is all due to cultural chaos that is taking place in public schools.
Teachers and administrators have morphed into politicians, activists or lawyers. The superintendent, who blamed “the system” and the gay assistant principal are perfect examples.
I think you unpacked this whole mess rather well. It’s tragic on both sides. The school was likely afraid to discipline him and I think you will find that rather common throughout the US educational system when it comes to a minority or protected class. It is politically correct to the point of absurdity. I dare say, had he been wearing a cross it would have been considered a distraction, yet a boy wearing stiletto heels and chasing other boys around wasn’t.
this is so sad. My gut tells me that these two boys may have been initimate and after the ‘act’, that was just to much for the straight boy to handle. That is why Larry dressed as a boy on the day he was murdered. It was probably his first time with a young man and he didn’t know how to handle it either. It wasn’t what was portrayed by television, media, and the society. How sad for both of them and all those who knew them.
Oh god, here it comes.
Right wing nut cases .....homophobes....bigoted nation...and on and on and on.
I find it interesting that the Principal (who’s job is to keep the peace and quell problems) is passing the buck on to a society of guns that needs more social programs filled with more people who will pass the buck, etc.
“One teacher was very protective of Larry, his English teacher, MRS. Boldrin. [CAPS mine] To help Larry feel better about moving to Casa Pacifica, she brought Larry a present: a green evening dress that once belonged to her own daughter.”
Let’s redefine ‘contributing to the delinquency of a minor,’ shall we?
We don’t hear about what Larry might have done to the shooter to provoke him.
Was grabbing the kid’s butt? Was he talking about how he and the shooter could be ‘an item’.
There is more to this story than an innocent gay boy being shot.
Firstly, nobody, nobody deserves to be hurt or killed for what they believe.
Secondly, if a straight person acted this way (i.e. an absolutely screaming, mincing, over-the- top queen) they would be accused of making fun of homosexuals, and would be "re-educated" in compulsive diversity training.
Thirdly, part of what killed this kid was a society so absolutely starstruck with "tolerance" as a virtue that it would let him get to this age without telling him "kid, nobody likes a freak and a moron and you are going to have to act like a normal human being, at least in public."
And fourthly, fifty years ago, his parents would have had him at a psychologist within two heartbeats of his first "teetering" outbreak, scared to death that they had produced a little homo, and the doctor would have counseled him and treated him in an effort to deal with his obvious (back then) psychological disorder.
Sometimes a tragedy is just that.
A tragic life.
A tragic death.
Nothing more.
Lawrence King is 180 degrees from my friends. They are dressed at school the way I am - CONSERVATIVLY - Jeans, polo shirts, sneakers - not the way Lawrence King dresses.
Brandon McInerney is a HOMOPHOBE. People like that need to be tolerent of others. Yes, my friends and I are conservatives - and I would love to tell Brandon the HOMOPHOBE what I think of him - AND PEOPLE LIKE HIM!!!
I completely agree. It seems that the Epstein woman was more interested in pushing the homosexual agenda than she was in protecting and defending the stuydents best interests.
What in the world would make a sensible, educated adult think that it's alright for an eigth grader to come to school dressed in drag? to allow him to harrass other boys. They had to know that this kid's aggressive deviancy would lead to trouble. Were they looking for a martyr???
The murdered kid needed help, but in our PC society we can’t even say that. He would have very likely killed himself at a very young age or just done so many other self destructive things that he would have died at a young age. Sodomy is a horrible goddless thing. It reminds me of the man with the legion of demons that Jesus exorcized.
