I've had garlic ice cream.
It's not bad.

I lived about 10 miles north of Gilroy in Morgan Hill for about 11 years. It was great in the morning when the breeze would blow up from Gilroy, bringing the smell of garlic!
Of course, I was also delighted to finally escape California in 1994!

Yum, fresh garlic!
Interesting thing about the root plate and Chinese garlic. I thought the stuff with the root plate on was maybe just grown differently or processed less, and that’s why it tasted better. But now that I know the difference is between Chinese and local, I’ll always buy the local stuff, where I used to buy the Chinese stuff in a pinch.

Love garlic. I eat it raw.

There’s a huge garlic festival near New Paltz NY in early Sept each year. It's really big.

A note of chivalry for our yong men out there:
If your date wishes to order a garlic dish, you also order one. It evens the playing field.

garlic-loving immigrants from Latin America and Asia entered the United States in the 20th century, they too helped change the way America ate. Garlic's bold and powerful flavor may also help explain its popularity, particularly among men. My hubby LOVES garlic. We both love Korean food yet we have NEVER been to the Garlic Festival even though it's only a few hours away.

Garlic, baked in butter with some oregano and basil. Like a very flavorful potato that’s good for you.

Any good Jewish cook in N.Y. could tell you about garlic in one breath. And if I had but one thing to flavor my foods it would be garlic, fresh and pungent.
