Did the sales people ignore the bear? They’re good at that.

The bear was probably fleeing some spandex clad crazed bicyclists.

No, they didn’t ignore him. They tried to sell him an extended warranty, and then refused to let him go until he paid for the broken door.

:-)

LOL!

Seems the libtards in both Colorado Springs and Boulder are getting their wish of living in harmony with wildlife, the only problem is the wildlife don’t seem to want to live in harmony with them.

I almost bought a TV at Circuit City once. It wasn't all that big, but it was close to $1000. The guy kept going on about the extended warranty, and I kept saying I had no interest in it. Finally, I said "If you mention the damn warranty one more time, I will walk out and you will lose the sale." He replied, "You're gonna want this warranty!"

I turned on my heel and walked out. The guy followed me saying, "Sir! Shall I ring this up? Where are you going? Sir?" I never looked back.

A couple of days ago, I opened the front door to find a year old bear standing in front of the storm door. After it went back into the yard, I followed it, clapped my hands, and said, “shoo, shoo.” It ran off.

I never, ever, speak to adult bears.

Seems there's a lesson in there about trying to coexist with radical Islam...

“As far as we know the bear is still in the area but it not a threat to anyone,” Whitlock said.

Mt Whitlock...I’ll be the judge of that. So should I go pet it if it comes into my yard?...can my children frolic with him until someone captures him?...LOL....

The photo shows a very small bear. A mauling or two from a bear the size of a small pickup truck might evoke different reactions.

Bears aren’t usually much trouble this early in the season. But for August-October,...

BTW, I found that even electric fences don’t always stop bears. ...depends on how trashy your neighbors are (or not, see north-south Range differences), and consequently, how frequent/persistent visits from the animals will be. Brenneke slugs from short shotguns (for speedy target acquisition and pointing characteristics) at close range seem to be the most likely effective, last-resort or hiking defensive measure.
