What a place to go. Just where my family wants to take a vacation. Nothing like a trip to Sharia Land.
a cultural keep sake, the left one comes raped and beheaded, the right comes severely bruised.
Many American tourists travel to Iran. Also, many Euro New Agers on the way to India by train. Nothing would stop Australian or NZ youth from their own tour of the planet.
War is cutting the numbers of tourists of course
Is Iran still an Islamic Republic, as extreme as back in the day of the hostage crisis and the Ayotollahs?
We still don’t have diplomatic relations with Iran, do we?
Just doesn’t seem right to talk about tourism. On the one hand they want our tourist dollars, and on the other hand, it’s death to America?
USA is not the only country on the planet. This is news to some no doubt. Iran has tourism from many countries, and some from the USA. They actually like American tourists and would like more.
Actually the Iranian people are some of the most pro-American in the world. Persians are known for their hospitality. I bet you would be much better treated than say in Europe and other parts of the world.
Since Iran has unique historical, cultural and natural tourism attractions, its tourism industry has the potential to replace oil as a source of revenue.Y'know, for people willing to travel on foot.
But I thought the Iranians were destroying their historical attractions. Like building a dam that threatens to flood Pasargadae, the city of Cyrus the Great.
So they raise money by selling the tourists back to their families?
Sure, but tourists experience an hour and a half wait at the public stonings.
That’s great!
