Yes. That is the one. Looks very much like her, IMHO. Thanks for bringing it up, Cardi.

My grandma had a huge ‘rain-barrel at the corner of her house in the back yard. It caught the runoff rain, and was always full of water. She used that water to water all her flowers in her many gardens. (She had a pump for water at her kitchen sink. No running water.)

Wonderful, yorkie! A few years ago my son and I were driving around my home county and we came to the old Confederate Reunion Grounds..I had forgotten that this was even there and was the location of a favorite swimming hole..a big creek..wonderful trees overhanging..
Mother wouldn’t let me do like the big boys and swing out over it ..It was a sentimental journey we were making after my mother, his “Big Momma” died. We used to have picnics there when I was young.

LOL!
Love the mom and little girl.
No rain yet..I hear distant rumbles at times but it is skipping my yard.
I saw papa Cardinal feeding a juvenile today..I wonder if they had a second family?..I have seen 3 juveniles on the patio .

I bet that is the second family. They seem to raise them so fast! I see a lot of redbirds but I’ve never witnessed one feeding her babies. I’ve seen Robins and other birds feeding their young but not the Redbirds.

Oh Meg .... I love that ole swimming hole picture. It looks so refreshing on this hot, hot day.
Our ole swimming hole wasn’t that nice. It was an irrigation ditch. LOL I wouldn’t let my son (when he was young) or Marissa near one of those ditches. They are dangerous and dirty!!

I lost several of my Favorites when my old computer crashed. I may be able to find a copy of some of them. Most of my music links no longer work.
It was 3 years ago today that I posted the closing thread at Amy’s Place. No wonder none of the old stuff works. :)
