“There is no doubt that Barak Obama is a natural born U.S. citizen. To say otherwise, or even to insinuate otherwise, sounds about as paranoid and irrational as the “truthers”.”
I have doubts.
There _would be_ absolutely no doubt - IF he chose to make public the essential document that would unquestionably prove this to be so - his birth certificate.
He refuses to do just that, after several requests have been made for him to release it (note: the state of Hawaii does not release birth certificates to the public without the consent of the person _on_ the certificate).
WHY?
What could possibly be on it so embarassing to him? Or so revealing?
Obama is not responsible if the birth certificate reads “white” as his race. He could not control what someone else put in that category at birth.
Obama is not responsible if the birth certificate reads “Islam” as his religion. He could not control what someone else put in that category at birth.
It can’t possbily be either of these that he is afraid of. It is something else.
Questions:
1. Is it possible that the date of issuance of the certifcate does not coincide with the date of birth?
2. If so, by how many days?
3. Does the signature of the physician attending the birth appear on the certificate?
4. If not, why?
5. As improbable as it may seem, could it be that there is no birth certificate at all - and that that is the reason he hasn’t “released” it to the public?

Let’s ask the real questions that his birth certificate could raise.
Is “Mohammed” on the form as one of his middle names?
Is “white” on the form as his race?
Is “Muslim” on there as his religion?
If these are the real questions, then the issue of where he was born is just a smokescreen for a fishing expedition for something that may or may not be embarassing to Obama.
While Presidential politics is hardball, you don’t have to resort to gutter tactics to play that way. Just keep asking to see all of his vital data.
Did John Kerry ever release his form 180? No. And the fact that he wouldn’t release it hurt him almost as bad as anything that might have been on it.
Same with Obama. Ask him to present his birth certificate. Not because of any weird conspiracies about him being spirited away from Kenya to Hawaii, but just because as a potential President, those forms should have public scrutiny.
