yes, amy according to the daily accounts I get of your weather is was a scorcher yesterday & today.. but lucky you with humidity in teens.. our weather is cooler but humidity in 70s makes it quite uncomfortable. You had a horrid day in the heat with Marissa.. glad you make it home with just frustrations & nothing more

That Greek seaside scene is so lovely. I have never been to the Greek islands but have seen so many beautiful pics that feature colorful geraniums. I like their food too!!

Two things that amaze me with the Carnival of Venice Presentation, Cardi:
1. The hundreds and hundreds of hours that must have been spent making those intricate and beautiful costumes!
2. All the masks are expressionless - do you know why?

Hi Amy, sorry to hear you and Marissa and others got stranded in the extreme heat like that. Glad you survived, and hopefully recovered.
Checking in with you and Polly re the heat wave. When it makes it to West L.A., you know it is HOT. I have blinds drawn and a fan going. We do get a little breeze now and then.
It is supposed to reach 115 in Phoenix today.

Well now I can say that I have visited Nasa. My husband and I made several trips there on different trips to Florida. It was fantastic just like your Presentation shows. We toured that huge building also!

It is suppose to be 105 again today. the A/C has been on since early this morning.
My computer says that it is 102 degrees in Fresno County.
Marissa spent last night with her brother, so I will need to go get her in another hour. I hate to go out. : (

How’re you and the family doing this summer?
We’re doing well. Kids are done with school and we are working.
Hope you are getting plenty of work...and are able to keep cool as you do it.

I wondered where you had been! What a bummer! Son worked on my computer today! Had to have a new modem! And here I thought I had a virus or something. This computer has about driven me crazy.
I couldn’t play any linked video’s and couldn’t accept Cardhu’s Presentations. Luckily, Cardhu sent them via email!
Now I can view them again!
Work is slow because of the stupid economy in NY and the price of gas at 427.9 per gallon.
The only one not workin is Lilly, she is to young. The oldest 2 are college age and go to school in the fall.
