Also, the seeds have a peppery taste. I don’t know about the leaves....??

You know what is good to eat, squash blossoms:)

Heard that. Never tried them. Raw or fried?

Squash blossoms are fried in batter and served on the menu at some Mexican restaurants as “flor de calabasa.”

We don’t have a lot of Mexican restuarants around here! LOL

Might have to try it at home.

Thsi is a beautiful celtic song that appears to refer to a garden of willow trees or, alternatively, a garden where one might sally forth or walk (briskly?) with a loved one. Would you know?

Humyo has my vote over Acnielsen. That said, I should know the music, a haunting melody--appropriate for a palace associated with two world wars. Do you know the name of the song?

Dropping by to say Howdy, y’all.

SIL and grandson leave tomorrow for Estonia for two weeks. A short-term mission project (electrical) for our SIL and he’s taking Christian with him. What an great experience for a twelve-year-old.

Last year SIL made a trip to China installing some solar panels way up in a high remote community.

Flag Day and Father’s Day greetings to all.

Awwww, Amy, I tried and tried to upload the mp3 of Frank Sinatra's "As Time Goes By" - both at domania and at aol, but my dialup times out before it will upload. I know that was what you wanted, but I must've tried a dozen times to get it uploaded, and it just. would. not. :(

I've only been successful uploading one mp3 to domania, but it was also a little 'smaller' (3MB instead of 4MB).

Another thing is that for over a week we've been experiencing problems with our electrical power (it drops down to 102 amps/volts(?)and then spikes to 129, and back and forth in between, and of course it's supposed to stay at or very near 120 all the time) and that could also contribute to the difficulty in getting it to finally 'take'. Can literally 'hear' the difference in my hairdryer and in the microwave - not to mention the lights getting dim and then bright. Electrician thinks it's something within the power company, and Texas Electric thinks the fault lies somewhere else. Sigh.

But anyway, I fell in love with all these sweeties 'kissing' and glad you all did, too. :)

BTW, the first picture (upper left) of that sweet spaniel is Julie’s ‘granddog’, and he was actually kissing himself in a mirror. :)

P.S. Is that our wolfie lower left? :) No wonder we haven’t seen him in a while - he’s found someone else. :)

Good afternoon, Meg.
I love your Wearing Red On Friday graphic.

I planted nasturtiums many years ago.
They did very well in our summer heat;
I got involved in work and being a mom and kinda forgot about them.

I should try them again.

Have a Wonderful Weekend.
