I have often thought about a traction type device to stretch out the backbone. I think it would help.
I’m in the Taipei airport now. Next plane takes off in about two hours. If the Lord blesses and protects the journey, the next terra firma I touch will be in the good ole U.S. of A.
FWIW, I sat next to a very nice gentlemen across the aisle from me on my recent journey’s leg.
Next week. The youngest and I are looking forward to it. We both want Big Brown to get the Triple Crown.
Just fyi, I am so sleepy I am staggering. I cannot wait to get stretched out on that other plane. Have y’all ever boarded a plane and seen those little stairs heading to the upper story and wondered, “what is up there?” I will be able to clear up that mystery real soon.
I wish I could be there to greet you.
Oh yum!
Safe travels!
Me too!
Thanks for the links Molly.
Good morning, ladies. Or whatever in the world time it is.
Listen, On Tuesday, y’all need to be sure to remind me that I need to bring to hubby’s attention the flooding that is happening in Jakarta next week. On the 2nd and 3re they’re expecting extremely high tides. The airport should be ok but the roads in and out are supposed to be about 4 feet deep with sea water. They’re not expecting a storm but unusually high tides. He’ll be ok if he doesn’t try to leave the airport. It has something or other to do with the moon.
I’m signing off now. I’m too sleepy to be trusted with a keyboard.
Good morning!
Daughter bought a house ONE house away from us. She’s packing today. Can’t wait for the move. I’ll be on and off for the next week.
Hope y’all have a great weekend.
Son Mike's wife's parents live in Thailand and when they go over for a visit, I believe it takes them 25 hours.
Belmont Steaks??? Are they like Montreal Steaks??? ;-))
Krissy is going to college online (University of Phoenix) and working full time as a Nanny for 2 year old twin boys and their 5 year old brother.
She hasn't told her parents as yet because the parents of her charges are out of town until tomorrow. Krissy wants to be able to sit and talk to her parents without distractions. As I said, she is an amazing 19 year old!!!!!
She has put herself on a full VEGAN diet (per doctors instructions). I have been sending her websites and books to order. She will beat this! It is just going to be a bump in the road.
I think I’ll have that this am. First I have to get the coffee going.
Has your asparagus begun to grow yet? I found some white asparagus in the supermarket....bought 2 bunches and we had a feast. lovely, just lovely.
Yesterday I had my miniture antique rose removed from the shade and replanted next to the fence facing the 4th tee. I was amazed when I saw how small the root system has. Today I’ll put some llama pellets around it. OH, Roomey had my Fairy rose uprooted and gave it away, BUT didn’t see a tiny spindly sprout. Yep, it is a Fairy rose....I replanted it next to the fence by the 4th tee close to the mini antique rose. Wait till Roomey sees the Fairy when it “grows up”. LOL.
That is nice kassie, she’ll be a big help to you. Check in when you can.
lysie, I forgot to ask, how is the ear?
Jem, safe travels and so happy you’ll be HOME soon.
I think a cross between Kansas City steak and Montreal steak.
Yes, we have asparagus, but very few make it back to the house. Sheesh! I eat it like carrots. LOL We will have some cooked tonight since Greg is home. He will be working out of town a lot and I don't want to hog it all.
Your roses are in a perfect spot. I love flowers next to fencing. So pretty.
No more pain in the ear and I can hear a little with my hearing aid. I think it's on the mend. I believe the cause was allergy to dust when I was cleaning my mil's house. Thanks for asking.
Whoa, baby! Are you lucky Sarah isn’t a member of this thread. ;-)
Hey, whaddaya mean? I’m not the one looking forward to making Belmont Steaks out of race horses!!! Sheesh! ;-))
