Obama is a simple power seeker who is riding the wave of racial guilt in America circa 2008.....All the while trying to pretend that he knows so much about foreign policy.

President Bush is in the great state of Utah tonight! He came for a couple of fundraisers for McCain. The first one was at a supporter’s home on the Avenues in Salt Lake City (by the Utah state capitol building.) He then flew in the Marine One helicopter to Mitt Romney’s house in Deer Valley for another fundraiser this evening. He will meet with President Monson of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is tradition for Presidents to meet with the First Presidency of the LDS church. Now I have to go do research and see if that one president before President Bush ever met with them...
And snugs, lots of good pictures of President Bush for you to post tonight.

Well, yes Bit, but there are MILLIONS of American voters that are FRANTIC to get the @%@$^$^ elected. They want change. They don't care if that change is Satan promising to saw every one of their heads off. It's change and that's all that matters to them. ANYthing but what is the status quo. ANYthing but Bush. They are frantic and they will do anything they can to usher in ‘change’. They don't care if that means Satan in the White House. Just so they get their ‘change’. They are as desperate for ‘change’ as a drowning man is desperate for another breathe of air.

I am going to call it a night. Going to go knit and watch a movie. I should just stop watching the evening news....so bloody depressing. America is FULL of idiots!!!!
A good nights sleep and I will wake up full of optimism again.

Your actual school is larger than I thought it was and the location is beautiful.
Thanks for letting us see where you are.
Incidentally, it has been raining cats and dogs here. The rain has been so hard and so heavy that we are beginning to see some end to the drought.

Thank you for the compliments. I’m glad to be finally out from “under cover.”
I’m glad the drought may be over. Yet, I hope that the rain takes a break on Sunday morning early. The youngest and I are landing in Atlanta.

What a beautiful campus and area. Did I ever tell you that my sister was called on an LDS mission to Indonesia? However, the government wouldn’t give the necessary visas, so she went to the Phillipines instead.
How long are you going to be in the States?

The government is becoming extremely dicey about granting visas. They don’t want to run the risk of being colonized again.
We’ll be in the states 7 months.

Ah. She was actually called in 1980. Anyway, is your husband going to be able to come for a portion of the visit?

I will be in the great state of Texas starting June 1 through June 13. Working in Austin developing a new product. I’ll probably go to Houston to visit relatives over the weekend (June6-8.) I’m not looking forward to the 10 hours of meetings daily, but it will be a change from my regular job...
One of the ironic things is that the Big Boss is looking forward to going to Texas so he can drink the local beer (he’s a native of Germany.) Very ironically, they are sending all Mormon non-drinkers from Utah for the meetings. I guess we can all be the designated drivers. :)

He’s coming next week. In January 2009 we’ll return together.
Too much is going on within the family for us both not to be there.

And I posit to you: Yes, if Nobama is elected, it will be a disaster but, I do believe that America will survive any one president being elected. Der Schlickmeister is living proof that the worst person to be president (re: George Will) can become President. We survived Slick Willy, we can survive anybody.
And I say that because Nobama is an ideologue, while Der Schlickmeister was a chameleon. Ideologues tend to be isolated in legislatures, and eradicated in following elections...;-))

Good morning, Bit. The only thing is, knowing what I know about Schlick and what is surfacing about BHO, I see BHO as a FAR, FAR greater threat to the republic than Schlick ever could be. I really like your comment, tho, about BHO being isolated in the legislature because of his radical agenda. Excellent point.
