Here...I’ll tell you something funny.
Yesterday the boys and I were talking about brain stem herniation. (It started as a discussion about the Borg on Star Trek). Anyway, I told them that a brain stem herniation is where after an injury, the brain swells to the point it pops out the hole at the base of the skull where the spinal column connects on. I told them it didn’t have a good outcome.
Matthew said “You might as well not even bother singing “Swing Low Sweet Chariot” because no matter if it swings low or not, you’re going home.”
Er... that’s not very tactful is it...

Not often that I have really funny stories about mine, but here is one about thenewboy. We are reading together, and he is doing really well. He read the word Hut, and I stopped him and asked him if he knew what a hut was... He says, “Yea, Jabba the Hut”...and he started laughing. I told him that was funny, and then explained to him what one was. I should write a book on teaching your boys to read by the Star Wars method.
