Okay....midafternoon with the sun on the energy film...

Thesunroom is about 2 degrees cooler than outside. It’s about 94 degrees out. Without the film it would be at or over 100 by now.

Ouch. 90 and above is definitely not in the comfort zone.

That energy film is darn good stuff! Did you take down the curtains, or are they just for winter? I’m staying in too, it’s just too darn hot to be enjoyable outside.

I’m really struggling with getting the old glue off the plaster walls in this one area of the entry hall. It has turned to this rubber cement-like substance that I can pull off with my fingers (in 1/8 inch strips) but if I try to use a wallpaper scraper it just destroys the outer plaster layer. I’m afraid to put on the primer-sealer til I get the glue off, but there is no way I’ll be able to get it all off. I’m in a quandry!!
