It’s getting mentioned here, but it’s being overshadowed by the fact that we’ve had almost a week of temperatures in the high 90s (and above yesterday).

Heh... all news is local... from my perspective somewhat warm weather isn’t that much news... not that we’ve had more than two days that hit 90 so far this spring.

Of course when the price of corn doubles again you-all may think it’s news... ;-)

It was hot in MS, but even walking around Southern Miss, there were lots of trees and shady spots so it wasn't bad. And my sister lives a few blocks from the inner harbor, so there was always a breeze.

It was brutal when I flew back into Boston yesterday, though. It was 96 degrees, and, especially in the parking garage, the air was still and very humid. SirKit had the A/C going at the house, so they've been comfortable during this heat wave. It's supposed to cool down to the mid-80s this week, so that will be nicer for working in, outside.
