Huh? What's that for, bribes?

Last time I heard that kind of silliness was when I was entering high school and pledging a girl's club. We pledges had to always carry gum and mints in case an older member decided to ask for some. We also had to always carry a clove of garlic with us, so my cousin and I decided to put the gum and mints in a little pouch, in which we also carried the garlic clove. We ended the summer with almost all of the gum and mints we had at the beginning. ;o)

No. The rationale is that only people with something valuable to protect should be allowed to carry. So in our county, a human life is worth less than $500 apparently.

And no, the fact that I’m carrying a $500 gun doesn’t count.

Some counties in IA are worse. The guy teaching the class mentioned one where the sheriff writes it “Invalid in incorporated city limits” (!)
