Sister had already seen the new Indiana Jones movie. She said she went in with really, really low expectations - and maybe she enjoyed it more than it deserved as a result, but she thought it was good. They didn’t try to make him into the same sort of action hero as in the originals, which would have been just silly.

We saw it with our friends Saturday and enjoyed it quite a lot. I thought it was amusing, certainly didn’t think it any sillier or cheesier than the others. (I mean, come on, the Ark of the Covenant melts Nazis?)

Acutally we saw Raiders the next day on DVD and I did not think there as a big difference in his 'action heroness'. A little slower but not less tough and determined. Indy always got through mainly on guts and determination. I can't think of anything bad to say about the movie. I liked it through and through.
