My SLR100 is all gussied up with a quad rail in the front, bipod and side attaching scope rail. The list of wants for it are a folding stock and new trigger group and a recoil buffer. But since I just got the AR it is likely to be gathering dust for the next few months.

Sounds like it’s time for a full time job, instead of school. Might make the idea of furthering an education in order to get a BETTER job finally stick. ;o)

Their prices on paper were better than some...ink and such were a bit more than Swisher and Pendemonium and selection isn’t quite as good, I don’t think. No, haven’t dealt with them.
But they’re just right in Portland...which makes them a tempting source for Clairefontaine and Rhodia notebook type things, if they prove decent. Could probably get stuff overnight, if they’re pretty quick to process orders.
I got these less expensive pens for Matthew to use in Latin. He wanted to use mine and I wouldn’t let him.
He seems to think it’s going to make quite an impression...
It’s always something. Last year it was the cell phone. Year before that it was a laser pointer. He brings it to Latin and the next thing you know...they all have to have one.

In other news, we had a come-to-Jesus meeting with Jr. last night. I told him if he wanted to continue school, he would do it 1) without my help, and 2) without my money. And I basically told him he could live and eat here and he was responsible for everything else.
His mother on the other hand told him 1) military or 2) trade school or 3) leave with only what you've purchased with your own money (it ain't much and it ain't a vehicle).
I've longed for the day when I could hear her say that. I feel like a newlywed.
Oh sorry, I just gave a brief update. I left the house at 6:30 this morning for a meeting in the People’s Republic of cHARLOTtesville and got home after 6:00 p.m. I fell asleep waiting for the Mrs. to get back from the store and just woke up and had dinner.
Abby cat is much the same. Jr. thinks the pin has dislocated. (She’ll let him hold her). We’ve got a bed for her on the floor with her food and litter box nearby. She ate a little today.
Good! Has he made his decision yet?
I haven’t seen him since last night.
I might be...kinda wired tonight. I’m using it for cleaning instead of mowing, though...
I’ll let ya know - and you can watch it without me if I’m not up fer it. I’ll just watch it tomorrow. No big deal.
