What’s funny is that the color that we’re going to change to will mean that the color of our walls will finally match the pottery we got as our ‘wedding china’ 33 years ago!
We’re trying to decide what color to choose to cover up Hunter Green.
10 years ago with black and white tile, it ~seemed~ like a good idea...
Well, I’m back.
I went in at 7:45am and got injected with contrast for my bone scan. Then I went and had an EEG. They glued all these little electrodes to my head and then had me lay there and look at strobe light, then hyperventilate, then sleep. Amazingly, I was able to do all three.
Then, I went and had my bone scan. They scanned my whole body, then went back and scanned the area where I hurt.
Then, I went in for the MRI and MRA. I asked if the MRI was going to be with contrast and they said “No, it isn’t ordered that way.” So they did them. They pulled me out of the machine and told me not to move, the radiology tech needed to talk to the radiologist. So a few minutes later he comes in and says the radiologist thinks he sees something on the MRI and they want to get it done with contrast after all.
So that is what happened...they injected a contrast into my vein and he said that it would show a tumor by increased blood flow or an eschemic (dead) area by decreased blood flow. Then they put me back in the machine and the tech patted me on the arm...which I thought was nice.
They didn’t tell me anything...I wonder if it showed anything?
I’m going to call here in a bit to see if I can find out. Get them to fax me my reports.
All that and you didn’t get an oil change?
(we’re keeping you in our prayers, keep us posted)
Thank you. I will.
Well, therealtor just told us to use off white everywhere. Heh.
The good news is, if she’s not lying, we might actually get enough for most of a down payment.
Last night I suggested to the Mrs. that we sell our house to WeBuyUglyHouses.com and I cash in my retirement and we run away...
Want a cheap house? With no room for teenagers?
1) too cold
2) too far from the shore (i’d suffocate)
That’s how I felt through 18 years of Ohio winters. Unnnngh.
A down payment...where?
Eek...
Well...in a way it'd be good if they do find something, but I'll be praying it's nothing serious! Keep us updated!
“Woodlawn Bedroom White”
No clue.
Though we can get a lot more house for the money in Fort Worth... I was checking there last night...
I think if they found something it's either an old ischemic area from back when I originally lost my vision...you know, in the night when I woke up and didn't have any bearings on where I was in the world. Back in March, I think.
Or it could be a tumor. Best case would be on my pituitary because they are usually benign. They cause vision disturbances.
Or it could be an aneurysm. I'm not thinking so though, because I would hope that would be expedited issue...something they wouldn't let me leave the hospital with, but I don't know.
Or it could just be nothing. I don't know. I put in a call to the doc.
Verizon’s still out at the house. No phone, no TV, no Internet.
I won’t be around much tonight.
That is why I dumped them three years ago.
Evening 2J - hope all the tests turn out as you’d like them too. Seems like that battery of tests should turn up something.
No call back? Waiting to know is a little anxious! Jeepers.
