Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
Alright... I can bathe.
And I really need it.
After I clean the sludge out of the tub.
Winston Rothschild?
Kline. I wished I could have voted for him.
Is that the fella from the Red Green show. One of them drives a septic tank pump truck.
Yep. The Sewage Sucking Service.
I voted for Kline.
You know, Phill Kline drives me nuts; having two l’s in his name, being smug and arrogant, but dang, he has a lot of qualifications for the job.
I truly believe he could sell ice to eskimos; he is a very, very good orator.
The other guy’s campaign was “Vote for me, I’m not Phill Kline”.
I would have vote for Philll, too. And I added an extra “l” for good measure.
A guy who goes after abortion clinics can’t be all that bad.
Absolutely!! I hope someday, some way, some one is able to send Tiller to prison for what he has done over the years.
It's possibly a newer version than the rental car, depending on when they swap out their fleet.
I wuvs it so far. Nice amount of pep for a little car, all the doo-hickeys are in convenient places, and it's very easy to park and all. And yeah, the trunk is kind of amazing. ;-) The seats fold down, too, if I ever needed even more space. It also pretty consistently gets about 35 miles to the gallon with the kind of driving I do -- by my own calculations, not the computer's. Not bad. Doesn't make up for the car payment, but it doesn't hurt, either. Love the MP3 capabilities, too.
My only complaint so far is that the steering gets a little twitchy at top interstate speeds, but I think that's the price to pay for it being superbly responsive at parking lot / inching through town speeds. I'll take the trade-off.
He belongs in prison for a very, very long time but I’ll stop here so I don’t get a timeout.
Something true for all of us, too, even if we can't use a 240G to help get through the day.
tagline change. consider joining the movement.
It’s keeeeeewwwuuut!! Suits-ya to a T!
Teehee.
Now that’s amusing.
It also needs a bath. ;-) I’ve been kind of afraid to take it through a car wash or anything for fear of scratching it, but leaving it as is is probably worse for it.
I’ll be spending a lot of time in it over the next few weeks, depending on how brave I get. There’s a small bluegrass festival south of here this coming weekend, and I might go. The weekend after that, there’s a jam / potluck in Castle Rock, also quite a ways south. The weekend after that, there’s another festival sort of thing, but just for folks who want to come and play, without any featured bands. A “picking party” kind of thing. That one’s closer as the crow flies, but it’s in one of those “can’t get there from here” sort of towns that involve a lot of extra driving to get there, so it’ll take just about as long.
I dunno if I’ll make it to all...we’ll see! It’s kind of scary going to things alone, but at least it’s getting so there are a few people I kind of know who I’ll maybe bump into so it’s not *quite* so scary.
And two of the three are “by donation”, so not a big expense or anything.
Heh...I almost posted that one....
You missed this...
