We had another flood...
So now we have a new kitchen faucet.
And that’s where I was last night.
On a positive note, there’s a gun show in town, at the DeltaPlex on Saturday. My first in years, and MrsEx’s first ever :)
Maybe we can coax Mr WinMag westward...come to the red part of Blonde Jenny’s Blue State!
You need’n an alibi or somethin’?
Just askin’...

unless I'm lying...
I tell the truth ‘cept when I lie.
You know I can tell when you’re lying...
Hehehe...
You Sometimes Know When Someone's Lying |

By the way, I got my power wheelchair today!
We were off getting some pistol shooting pointers all evening. Good range session for me.

So you might be bluffing...
I can't go by body language or facial expression, but there are patterns of evasive answers that tip me off.

Heh...when my littlest brother was little, we could always tell if he wasn’t being entirely truthful because he’d walk his index and middle fingers across whatever flat surface happened to be nearby.
In the years I’ve been doing helpdesk type work, very often when I ask questions like “did anything get changed recently?” I can just *see* those walking fingers in my mind’s eye as they’re answering....
Zoom, Zoom, Zoom!
We had a water dispenser do that on a refrigerator a few years ago. Good thing we'd already planned to get up early in the morning to watch the Space Station go over our house. I walked into the kitchen at 4:45 am, and stepped into water. It had been going for several hours, and if we'd waited until our customary 7:30 to get up, it would have been MUCH worse.
As it was, I vacuumed up 6 gals. of water off the basement floor, where it had migrated downward. Thankfully, it hadn't gotten on any of the electronic equipment down there. It just came through the ceiling tiles, which melted onto the sectional sofa and the carpet. What a mess
