Well then you won't be doing it AT the funeral, now will ya?
I'm keeping all of you in my prayers. I thought of you last night when watching that "Gone with the Wind" sketch from the Carol Burnett show, especially when she came walking down the stairs in the drapes!
"I saw it in the window, and I just had to have it!"
That’s a very nice obituary, Corin. Nana certainly lived a full life, didn’t she?
Take care of yourself Corin.
That was a really nice obituary. Sounds like she had a nice life mostly.
I always liked the ones where Tim Conway was the old guy and Harvey Corman was the guy in a hurry.
...baggage handler...butcher...dentist....
mmmm. cookies..kitty, cookies, and it’s Caturday.
We agrees with Hair, if it isn’t at the chapel, it’s not at the funeral. We’re all thinking about you and your family, Corin.
nope... I went in last week and they had three, but the clerk said he just got them in and didn't know their status or price, the owner was unavailable... I come back in this week, and they've got none... they had tuh put it on order...
well... at least yuh ain't gonna drink in the chapel...
our prayers be with yuh bro... and yer family...
Unbelievable.
Photos courtesy of Iowa State Agronomy Dept. In photo 4 you get an idea of the width by the brown swath on the ground- that is approximately 3/4 mile of wide.
Link will show the path of destruction from Parkersburg Ia, to the east, but I am not sure how far it extends.

Yes- farm took a direct hit last Sunday. I am heading out today for 2 weeks to help out. Dad, mom, brother, sister and bro in law rode it out in the basement; said it was all over in 60 seconds. Luckily, no one hurt. Now it is just clean up and rebuild.
he sent pics of the farm... the house is still standing, but roofless... outbuildings and crop are a total loss... Keep Jon and his family in yer prayers please.
the fields are green here... didn’t take into account the more northerly latitude...
The last two weekends when we went to the range we had to dodge farm equipment on the way there. Between the long winter and a gob of rain in early May they have only just recently (last 3 weeks) be able to plant at all.
Link doesn’t work.
Izzit five yet?
No?
Well...that’s not right.
Are we going out this evening?
Can you check the ammo levels? I will be here a while longer.
Yes. I really want to anyway.
Already checked, we have 50 each of 9mm and 45 - that was what you wanted right?
