Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
Just wanted to say “HI!” ~smooch~
The Blu-ray player sounds great! We're holding off for a while; maybe the prices will come down a bit.
Well, our old dvd player has needed replacing for at least six months and we’ve had the ubertv of doom for over a year so, it was time.
Be vewy, vewy, quiet.
Evening all - Lost in 12/13 minutes (for someof us) if anyone can dvd the episode for Corin, I bet he would appreciate. We’re on rabbit ears w/vhs tape here so a cable set up might give a better copy. He’s probably up to his hairy ears in in-laws, out-laws and very and sundry things.
To paraphrase Indiana Jones - I hate ticks. The woods are sure full of ‘em this year.
Were you able to get the Sig?
Oh - good point about Corin... but we don’t have any way to save a recording at all.... we have our DVR, but he’d have to come here to see it.
We could buy him a salmon if he came...
And perhaps provide a kitten, too...
Heh, salmon and kitty as well as LOST. That just might do it. :-)
Everyone was! That's why I asked. :-)
Now I wave my hand and the wabbit jumps out of the hole...
Thanks for the "LOST concern." But Bear is right, I've got DVR and one of the things I managed to remember before we left town today was to set it for LOST and Battlestar Galactica.
Luke and I got here a couple hours ago. Mrs. and Jr. are out shopping to make sure he's presentable. His suit still fits, but he needed a shirt and tie and socks that actually come up past the rim of the shoe. Luke had some dental work done this morning and was put under sedation. We didn't think we would be able to travel, but by 11:00 a.m. I was asking if I could go back to the dentist and get more sedation.
Things are going as well as can be expected. The dramas continue. Tomorrow night is the visitation and the funeral and burial here in Greensboro on Saturday. Then we're having a memorial at our church in Richmond on Sunday afternoon.
It's been a long week and we're all exhausted. By the time we got here I was literally so exhausted it was all I could do to get to the room. I still have stuff in the truck that needs to come in.
Oh and at least... we don't have enough insurance money to cover everything and yes I ponited that out several times over the last few months...
Well, we’re old school technology. The reception is great tonight so we’re taping it. Redundancy can be a good thing sometimes.
I have no idea how this episode is going to end...
We’re still praying for you Corin.
Well. That was interesting.
Well, I’ll be darned. Once again, didn’t see that coming. WOW.
