Thanks for the welcome, Amy! I spent four years of college as an English major reading poetry and still read poetry for recreation over thirty years later. I'll be around on a regular basis and you'll see some of my favorite poems of various genres from various times. :)

There's a lot to do at this time of year - I'm always amazed at the eruption of new growth in spring.

Yes, Dita, it was so great when I saw a post from Conor today! I have been doing lots of other things today and haven’t spent much time on the computer.
Conor, you will enjoy being here when you can.
To: La Enchiladita
Thanks, Dita - it's nice to see you, too!

:) I haven’t read or heard anything by Dylan Thomas in a long time, and when I read the poem I could hear his rich voice saying it. I also confess I’m pleased to be one-eighth Welsh on my mother’s side.
To: La Enchiladita
Dylan Thomas is great reading his own work - I especially liked "A Child's Christmas in Wales".

Cardhu, Thank you for bringing us Moscow.
Lovely architecture and beautiful colors.
On one slide, was that a street or a parking lot? It looked like a street but I never thought about traffic jams in Moscow.

It was good, I had good news with my concrete mixers and have set up a meeting with a guy that wants to talk about them and I may have sold one to a guy from Canada...

I think we are all going to have blurry screens several times between now and Monday evening.
I got a red poppy from an older veteran last week so I gave it to Jim when I went to see him on Monday.
