World's Biggest Baby!
Metro UK ^ | April 22, 2008

Posted on 04/23/2008 10:40:13 AM PDT by Hildy

When ten-month-old Karan Singh bundles into the playroom, other toddlers must run away screaming.

Because, at a hefty 22kg (3st 7lb) and at nearly 1m (3ft 2in) tall, Karan, seen right, is a giant among babies.

His size is no surprise to his mother – one of the tallest women in Asia at 2.18m (7ft 2in) – who has to feed him 20 times a day.

Baby boom: Karan and his mother Svetlana tower over a friend and her one-year-old son (THE PERSON HOLDING THE BABY IS THE MOTHER!!!!!)

Punjab is where Alexander the Great attempted the invasion of India circa 326 BC.

The border chieftan Porus (left), against whom Alexander (right) waged his costliest and bloodiest campaign, and finally negotiated a peace deal, was described as a giant.

The woman is apparently from the same region.

The scary thing is that most marriages in India are arranged. One wonders what the groom thought when he first met his bride-to-be....

That’s a big woman. Imagine the husband’s surprise when he first met the new wife who had been arranged for him.

“The episode concludes with the marriage of Claudius to Urgulanilla. Claudius awkwardly enters the room, limping as he pays his respects to the two families. He takes his seat next to his bride, nervously clasping her hand. Gazing at her through her saffron veil, he seems surprised at her comeliness. When the priest begins the ceremony, the young couple rises. Urgulanilla stands head and shoulder above Claudius. The families erupt in cruel uncontrolled laughter.”

Singh is a Sikh name.

Do not confuse these people with Muslims or Hindus
It could be bad for your general wellbeing

They are a fine race of people

I liked when they used subtitles for him in The Longest Yard.

I think a stone is 14 pounds so this baby is close to 50 pounds. How about this: not long ago a story was posted about the world’s smallest bodybuilder (from India) who at 19 is just 33 inches tall and weighs just 20 pounds. This baby weighs 2 and a half times as much times as him!
