And another, equally serious statement: Read The Problem of Pain, by C. S. Lewis. I am not as sanguine about recommending his stuff to women as I am to men, but you being a man, I think you would get a lot - I mean A LOT - out of it.
I do not need to insult your intelligence with statements like “read Job”, etc., and I may be pushing it even recommending this book, but you need more than empathy and I am trying to offer it.

No, probably not drugs, because I am SOOO dead set against them, but.... nightmarish nonetheless. She would have acted out in bulimia, in lying, in cheating on me, to the point that I would have left her.
In the short 18 months we were together, I suspect her of cheating on me twice. And I have a decent sized unit and know how to use it. It’s not me. It’s her.

You want to engage me? Go back to my original point on how I hate drugs. And how the WOD is worth it.
If you like drugs, then explain why. If you think we should quit the WOD, then explain why.
