Good Morning Class. Welcome to School!
Here is my example with today's WFTD.
Michelle Obama wants to make sure her audience doesn't appear too stygian in televised recordings of her campaign appearances.
Obama advance: 'Get me more white people'
No pushing at the door please!
Happy Humpday Everybody!
Hey Michelle, here's a white person for you. Oh, nevermind.

Get to class, you slackers! I've opened a new classroom, but I have lost my copy of the gradebook. My secret for getting extra plusses on my A+ from xs will remain a secret between me and her, so you're on your own if you want her to review your work.
I won't see much of anyone in class today as I have way too much of the four-letter word staring me in the face this morning.

The stygian lineup of candidates in this years Presidential elections would depress Norman Vincent Peale.

Ever see the old South Park where Cartman had the compulsion to finish singing "Come Sail Away" anytime someone started it?

My first thought when I saw this word was that there might be a lot of earworms inspired by Styx lyrics on this thread today. Here are a few that I can hear in my head right now:
Oh mama I’m in fear for my life from the long arm of the law.
Lawman has put an end to my running and I’m so far from my home.
Oh mama I can hear you a crying, your so scared and all alone.
Hangman is coming down from the gallows and I don’t have very long.
Here’s another good one:
Too much time on my hands, it’s ticking away with my sanity
I’ve got too much time on my hands, it’s hard to believe such a calamity
I’ve got too much time on my hands and it’s ticking away from me
Too much time on my hands, too much time on my hands
Too much time on my hands
Oh, and here’s another good one:
You see the world through your cynical eyes
You’re a troubled young man I can tell
You’ve got it all in the palm of your hand
But your hand’s wet with sweat
And your head needs a rest
And you’re fooling yourself if you don’t believe it
Why must you be such an angry young man
When your future looks quite bright to me
And how can there be such a sinister plan
That could hide such a lamb
Such a caring young man
And you’re fooling yourself if you don’t believe it
You’re killing yourself if you don’t believe it
Get up, get back on your feet
You’re the one they can’t beat and you know it
Come on let’s see what you’ve got
Just take your best shot and don’t blow it.

Welcome to the grand illusion
Come on in and see what’s happenin’
Pay the price get your tickets for the show
The stage is set, the band starts playin’
Suddenly your heart is pounding
You’re wishing secretly you were a star

You’ve got to start with the beginning of the song as only Dennis DeYoung could sing it:
I’m sailing away
Set an open course for the virgin sea
For I’ve got to be free
Free to face the life that’s ahead of me
On board I’m the captain
So climb aboard
We’ll search for tomorrow
On every shore
And I’ll try, oh Lord, I’ll try
To carry on

Ever see the old South Park where Cartman had the compulsion to finish singing "Come Sail Away" anytime someone started it? Yes. In fact my "Come Sail Away" earworm is being sung by Eric Cartman.
