My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Well, sure we can, per chance did you check your stats for number of hits? That way we can tell if it’s worth while or not. You loaded and played a huge number of tunes, and the views for The Lair at FR were huge. Sooooo... someone was either just looking or playing tunes. I don’t know which.

We can ask the Lair residents which they prefer, music or no music.
I know the regulars here seem to enjoy our endeavors. ;0)

In graphics we had to learn to use the large triangles, ellipses, and the French curve.
Then for Typography class there was another tool we had to buy and use by hand. I really enjoyed Typography class. Lots of stuff to learn in that one regarding guiding the readers eye -the do and do not rules. Line spacing and kerning, runarounds, etc.

Well, ok....but I know they don’t like me....

You might need those for something but typography is completely different now than when we worked in the business.
I actually have some lead type. Not too many people have seen that in person.

Afternoon, tomkow and evening, t-t!
Made it to Kuwait this evening.
A few days here and then headed to home, sweet home.
I hope the Sadr problem is solved while I'm home. We've all had enough of playing "Dodge-Rocket." ;-)
HOME for two to three months!

Our instructor had lead type, and some lead rules. I love looking at old books - one can see where the lead type struck the paper.
The instructor, worked as a type setter using a Linotype machine. They are still in use today, but as you said, type setting is done on differently today.
There may be many things I don’t know about as it has been many years that I have kept up with new methods.
