Thanks, Kitty. More to come, I'm sure, as the jays give me more photo opportunities.
I am looking forward to photos of your "Doggie". And I think that is a perfectly fine name! :-)
It's pefect! I knew, when I read your comment, "Hola, Scrubita!", that I had my name for her. :-)
I have named the little one in the photo I posted yesterday, "Sweet Baby Jay". Of course, if there is more than one baby, I will have a problem because they look identical. I guess they will all be named Sweet Baby Jay.
Thanks, GeeBee. I might try tinypic and see what I get. I just don't understand why, when I uploaded a high quality video to youtube, when I viewed it, it was so fuzzy and ugly looking. Maybe I am doing something wrong, that is most likely the problem.
Can you forward it to me via e-mail? If not, can you give me the file name of the Power Point?
Is it a link you have, or an actual file? I am a little confused about this, I'm not sure I understand completely what it is that you have and what you want to do with it. If you want to e-mail it to me, I will freepmail my address to you.
The thought of colliding with a bicycle has always been a nightmare . I had a child pumping hard right at me as he came around a corner head down...We both reacted in time, thank God.
It really shook me up..(((Lori)))

I understand exactly! It's a sickening feeling when you have a close call like that.
Thanks, PGalt! The welcome mat is always out at Amy's Place and we are so happy you stop by. :-)
Lori, I'm So Thankful Things wern't Much Worse, and that you and the Biker wern't Hurt; our Lord's Grace was Over the Situation. I can Imagine the Horror you Felt, my Sweet FRiend. :( I'm So Grateful to our Lord for His Mercies! (((((Hugs from the Heart)))))
Yesterday Evening, I Decided to Snap Pics of Doggie Right through a Window, so Everyone could See her, and Lol, her Tongue and Face are Dirty from her Pastime of Constantly Chewing on Things! Those Pieces of Cardboard All Around her is the Mess she's Made Shredding Boxes, but I've Let her Keep Doing it while she's Tied Up so she will have Something Fun to Do. We will be Untying her Any Day Now, and I'll Return my Yard to its Neat State. : ) (Temporarily, anyway, Lol!)
Here is my Sweet Doggie:

(Actually, the reason I posted this isn't to show off my mama jay AGAIN as much as it is to show what my new camera can do. This was shot on "auto" setting. Anyone who is in the market for an easy to use "point and shoot" with manual over-ride settings and video w/sound capabilities, freepmail me. I can direct you to the best little amateur camera on the market, for just around $200.) :-)
She looks like she is smiling and, why shouldn't she? I think she has found a wonderful, loving family. What more could a pup ask for?
Thanks for the photo ping. How I would love to get my hands into her fur!
There is something about the desert, isn't there? It is full of beauty, sometimes you have to look closely for it, and other times it just explodes with color.
BTW, are you seeing any strange lights where you are? I thought of you when I saw the news reports of those lights over Phoenix. ;-)
Thank you Mama_Bear! I wish I could post the hundreds of pictures of the different blooming cacti here on the desert. Every species has a totally different flower, and all are breath-takingly beautiful.
I’m about two hours north of Phoenix (where the lights were seen). I didn’t see anything strange up here. As far as I know, they were only seen in Phoenix. Spooky, eh?
I just read about your experience yesterday with the bicycle. I am so sorry you had to experience that! What a shock!
Have a good day today (and thank God that no one was injured.)
Yorkie, did you see these?

Hola, Scrubita! Looking good today, esa:)
Your Mama Jay is a Beautiful Bird, and I Love Every Pic you Post of her and her Family! I Saw a Beautiful Red Cardinal and his Wife a Few Minutes Ago, and Wanted to Snap their Pic, but they Quickly Flew Off before I could Grab my Camera, Lol. Your Pics are Absolutely Wonderful, and this One you just Posted is Stunning!
Wow, ‘Dita! Those are beautiful!
I’m sorry I don’t see all my pings. I don’t know how I missed it - but I did! Thank you.
I haven’t been online too much, and there is no way to tell if I opened a ping or not. (I wish the powers that be would fix that one thing with the new format.)
I'm in!
Yes, and it stays with you long after it is over. I guess if you drive long enough it is inevitable that you will have a close call eventually.....hopefully nothing worse than that. I sure hope that guy learned a lesson and will ride his bike more responsibly. It will make me more careful, that's for sure!
Re: the strange lights.....I had been thinking that it has been awhile since we've heard any reports of "unexplained lights in the sky". Now they are back in the news, this time over Phoenix. Yes, very spooky.
That always happens with me and spaghetti too! P.S. I want that recipe:)
(((HUGZ)))
I'm in!
Hey, me too!!!
Morning, dita. It looks like it is going to be a beautiful day in the neighborhood!
