We have some ice plant blooming around here too; the colors are brilliant.

It is absolutely wonderful that they let you so close to their nest to take pictures. Terrific picture! I enjoyed the Youtube video also. I wonder if you can upload your videos on tinypic and give us a link to view? Maybe they will work better? Thanks for pinging me to the picture of this adorable baby Jay!

I am probably the only one here who appreciates celery, but one thing that makes me hesitate to buy: those strings are bothersome. However, it's good in many things.... chicken salad as Jaycee mentioned, stuffed with peanut butter or cream cheese, in potato salad, in the classic turkey stuffing, in waldorf salad and in Chinese chicken salad.
From an e-mail:
"Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet the body pulls it from the bones, making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body."

That's a Sweet Pic of your Baby Jay, Lori, and I Love the Vid of Scrubita Singing! Thank you for Sharing these with us, because they are a Blessing.
Thank you to Everyone for All the Awesome Things I've been Enjoying on the Thread! I Went Outside around 1:00 Today to Snap Some Pics of Spring Flowers, and it's a Beautiful and Sunny Day. I Actually Snuck Outside, Lol, so my New Doggie wouldn't be Alerted that I was there, because she has to Remain Tied Up just a Bit Longer. She Somehow Figured Out I was in the Vacinity, even though I was Far Away; she has Radar-Ears, Lol! : ) But she Cried Mournfully the Whole Time I was Snapping Pics, because she Wanted to be where I was, and it Broke my Heart. :( I Cut the Pic-Taking Short and Made it Up to her by Playing with her for Awhile and Giving her Some Delicious Kibbles n Bits. : )
