LOL! "Shamu skin"........I can just picture it. They do get attached to things. :-)
They’re so smart, too smart sometimes! You can tell him—go get squirrel, or ball, or your rope. He’ll go dig in his toy box or his stash until he finds wahtever you sent him for. It’s really unbelievable how many words they know. We started spelling things, had to resort to spelling them backwards. They haven’t figured that out—yet!
Beautiful sunset, OESY. I love sunsets... AND Thousand Island dressing:)
I know! Artie sounds a lot like my Chachi! He also knows the names of many of his toys and will go to his toy box and get whichever one we ask for. Some people don't realize that, if you talk to a dog like you would a child, they will learn to understand you.
Sometimes is almost scary what our dog understands. They also can pout, too, and try to throw a guilt trip on you if they are unhappy. Especially the little dogs. Aren't they fun?
Oh my gosh! Pout! Sulk? Pitch a hissy? Guilt trip? If you look up those words, Artie’s pic is right beside them!
The little dogs seem to pick up so much on not just your words, but facial expressions and movements! It’s not even funny how smart they are! If Artie had thumbs, he’d rule teh world—no, the universe!
Oh, we luvs this kitty ... he is ADORABLE....thanks, Amy!!
Marissa, you picked a good one!!
LOL! I hear ya!
P.S. My Brigid, as loving and loveable as she was, did not like to be held either. Some just plain don’t:)
I am so glad that he is healthy now.
Jk is here and wants to take Chach out to the pet store to pick out a toy. I am going to stay home. I pulled some muscles moving furniture around today. Will I ever learn? LOL
I Love That Kitty! Beautiful!
I understand about Kitty Mittens not liking to be held..My kitty doesn’t like it either..I pick her up at least once a day when she comes in from a garage visit just to keep her used to it..but I put her right down after a hug.The garage is my kitty’s getaway place as she is an indoor cat.
Thank you All for your Well-Wishes for my New Dog, and she Arrived Back Home this Evening, and I Felt So Sorry for her, because she was a Nervous Wreck, and was Literally Shaking when my Husband Let her Out of the Pet Carrier. :( She Settled Down Pretty Quickly after that, and then her Friend, the Neighbor’s Dog, Came to Visit her, and she was Happy to See her. I’ve been So Excited about having a Dog that I’d Overlooked Something; my Dog could End Up Wanting to Live with my Neighbor, because she is Such Good Friends with his Dog. I Hope she Decides to Stay with me! But I Want her to be Happy, above All Else. She Might Actually Live at Both Places; at Least I could still See her Daily that Way.
I never do! Hope your muscles feel better soon.
No wonder Marissa chose that cat. He is absolutely beautiful. His markings are perfect....I love your kitty!
Your kitty was just beautiful, Dita. I looked at your page the other day. I like your profile page....its very nice, I think I told you one time! That picture of your cat with its leg hanging down just showed how relaxed it was. Cats are wonderful “people”~~~~LOL~~~
Meg, we need a picture of your kitty? Cats are sweet and very clean. Even my son’s cat would just clean her little self as old as she was and as sick as she was. She was a sweetie! I have had several cats in my lifetime and loved them all. We had one we called “popcorn” and another was “honey britches”. And I can’t remember the rest! And how we came up with those names, Lord help me!
Thank you! I agree...(((Hugs)))
Hi Kitty, Your dog will recover quickly. She will probably live with you, if you feed her and love her, etc. She may visit her buddy but they usually learn where “home” is. I am so happy for you having this dog. I didn’t know you wanted a dog so badly! You will be a good “mommy” to your pet! Whats her name, Kitty? I know you are happy her surgery is over now!
I hope she stays with you too, Kitty Mittens, and can’t wait until you pick a name for her!!
