How elegant. That snow looks like a sugar frosting on the flowers:)

This is a wonderful story, Rus. What a blessing the Holy Spirit is in the lives of believers. Just by hearing her pastor’s voice, this lady’s life was revived. The human voice can be very healing and consoling, especially when God is using us for His Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven.

Amen!!

Sourdough bread is a special favorite of mine, (((Jaycee))). I lived in San Francisco a long time ago and, when you walk down to Fisherman’s Wharf, instead of smelling fish you smell sourdough bread!!

I think they should capture the sourdough bread odor and make a room deodorizer from it~~LOL~~

I Love Dandelion Puffs, Amy! They're One of my Favorite Things Growing Outside, and I still Like to Pick them Scatter their Little Parachutes on the Wind. (I don't Let Anyone See me, though, because I'm too Old to be Doing that, Lol!)

Happy Dandelion Day!

Wisp O' Dandelion

  Grandma bent to gently pluck
the dandelion of wispy white.
Her smile glowed brightly,
much like the dandelion
when first sprouted ~
a sunshine smile ~ then
she turned to me with hand
outstretched in offering
this sweetest gift of nature.

'Make a wish! ' she exclaimed.

Bending our heads together,
we both concentrated on
hopeful wishes cast to the wind.
Mine, a wish for more time ~
more memories ~ with my Grandma.
Hers, a wish for memories that
time had left behind ~
leaving only these wisps of
dandelion in the wind.

Morning, Poet Gal! Hope today is better for you and Q!

I have been jumped at times, too. I have the feeling that we all have. Hunny - don’t let it get to you - it will all be forgotten in a few days.

Today is a new day. If you can, thank God for all the wonderful blessings he has bestowed upon you, your family, your friends. That always works for me. I hope it will for you, too.

Hugs

NOOOOOOOO! I've been trying to get RID of dandelions! I WISH they would go away, never to be seen again! :)

Cute, cute poem.

Good afternoon, Meg.
Thank you for the beautiful snowy April greeting.
You did a wonderful job of framing it ... as always.

I've been trying to play catch up this morning.
I spent some time doing laundry.
Afraid the closets would some be bare if I didn't. ;^ )

Hopefully I can play catch up here this afternoon.

Thank you, Jaycee. Do you play?
My hubby does but I have never tried it.
I know it would be good exercise so maybe I should join him.

No, I don’t play but do you know I like the Master’s. Not to watch it constantly but I do watch it some! My hubby was a fisherman when he had time. He played a little golf but never was addicted. My hubby was also a Shriner and was very interested in that!

This charming guy that I dated for awhile, was addicted bad! It is good for you, all that walking. He was tall and lean! He did watch his weight very well also! He ate lots of salads and fat free dressings! He may have been a bit strict but he did eat my chocolate cake with coffee!

Dewing Dandelions

Bright little Dandelion
Lights up the meads,
Swings on her slender foot,
Telleth her beads,
Lists to the robin's note
Poured from above;
Wise little Dandelion
Asks not for love.

Cold lie the daisy banks
Clothed but in green,
Where, in the days agone,
Bright hues were seen.
Wild pinks are slumbering,
Violets delay;
True little Dandelion
Greeteth the May.

Brave little Dandelion!
Fast falls the snow,
Bending the daffodil's
Haughty head low.
Under that fleecy tent,
Careless of cold,
Blithe little Dandelion
Counteth her gold.

Meek little Dandelion
Groweth more fair,
Till dies the amber dew
Out from her hair.
High rides the thirsty sun,
Fiercely and high;
Faint little Dandelion
Closeth her eye.

Pale little Dandelion,
In her white shroud,
Heareth the angel-breeze
Call from the cloud;
Tiny plumes fluttering
Make no delay;
Little winged Dandelion
Soareth away.
