Thank you, Dita.
How are you today? We are having beautiful weather today .... I hated to come inside when we got back from Fresno.
Look at this, Amy... April is nearly up to 1,000 posts already!
It has warmed up here and is luscious out; still a cool breeze, but very inviting out there. I am fine, thanks!
LOL
That is so cute!!
The PO and bank didn’t take very much time so I stopped by Costco and ordered new glasses. It will take about 3 weeks ... sure different from LensCrafter 1 hour.
My son told me to try Costco. He quoted Consumer Reports that rated them #1.
When I pick these up, I will order prescription sunglasses.
Eye doc told me to start wearing sunglasses ... I guess I will do as told. ;^ )
Good plan. I need to renew my Costco membership; they have good prices on scrips.
When I go to Costco, I spend too much. My pantry is a nice size so I do have room to store the extra.
I noticed that too. At this rate, we will be near 3,000 by the end of the month!
Beautiful pic of the lavender trumpet vine! Wonder if you can root it! LOL
I envy you your weather! We have four seasons here—Almost summer, summer, still summer, and Christmas!
Awww..Love this!
Found it!!

I need to leave again ..... Almost time to pick Marissa up from the AWANA meeting.
See you when I get back.
I apoligize for the quality, it's quite difficult to photograph them from a distance.
Okay, I promise, that is the last photo of the Jay family I am going to post for awhile. I know I am getting carried away with the bird photos. (This isn't Amy's Place for Poetry and Bird Photos???) It's just so easy to run out with the camera and take more. I'll try to control myself. LOL
Oh, I would love that!! The only thing winter is good for is 'Christmas'. After Christmas, I am ready for 'almost summer'.
I am guessing from some of your posts that you are in one of the Carolinas, maybe North Carolina? We visited there a couple years ago. Went to the Charlotte area to visit relatives who live on Lake Norman, also took a trip down to Charleston, SC. I love it back there! We had a great time.
Say it isn’t so! I so enjoy your pictures of the Jay family,Mama Bear.
I was already off schedule but a big storm last night really put me off..When I woke up this afternoon..no electricity..When it came back I had no wireless connection!
We were lucky..High winds, heavy downpours and lots of lightning but no tornadoes.
I enjoy storms, we don't get many. In fact, what they call storms here are usually nothing but a little bit of rain coming through. I always laugh when we get a "severe weather warning" alert. It's generally a little wind and rain. Never anything like the storms I've experienced back east.
Of course, I don't like storms that do damage or knock out electricity, I just kind of like to hear them off in the distance. :-)
I hate losing my electricity, though I enjoy storms,too.. I am finally taking precautions when tornado warnings are in the mix..
I was hearing take cover warnings to towns in the path of the approaching storm so I realized that it was damaging people in towns south and east and west of me..It did worse to those north..I had Silky closed into my bedroom in case we needed to take cover in my interior bathroom..but we were lucky.
This storm was large and went up into to several states. It’s still going strong...moving east.
Oh, look at the baby! Good work getting the picture, Mama Bear. That is so sweet:)
I sure worry about my friends in "Tornado Alley". Those REAL tornadoes are deadly and scary!! Nothing to mess around with.
Glad you made it through this one safely, MEG.
Looks like this month it is going to be twice that number. That's good! :-) ·
I spend too much at Costco too. I rarely need to buy large quantities. I have found good deals on books and music, some clothing items and the roasted chicken is good.
