The last time I watched was the season Carrie Underwood won. I haven’t had the time, nor have I had the desire. It’s a different show now.

He was on Leno the other night. I thought he said he was watching this year. Maybe I have him confused with someone else, they interview so many past idols all the time, but I thought it was him. He sang one of the songs off his new album. It was pretty good. He seems very personable.

I have to deduct points for singing that particular Aerosmith song.

Not really fair since the produces forced him to sing that song.

That’s not toast. That’s grilled cheese and looks particularly yummy! :)

Ok I should have taken the time for a better pun for David A. being toast.

That works, Captain...if you order "un toast" in Italy, you will get a grilled ham & cheese.

Sometimes he throws in a “Check it out...how you doin’ tonight?”

And if the singer REALLY sucked, Randy will follow that with a loud inhale and a slow "Duuuuuuuuude" exhale :)

LMAO!!! I love Sam the Eagle. He was very under-used on The Muppet Show. Him and the guy who threw fish.

My favorite under-used muppet was the Swedish Chef. Or Beaker :)

amongst the chaos in the backstage area, a man in a thobe speaks to a woman concealed entirely in a black burqa, stating his wishes to buy the place and burn it.

And this was on the old Muppets show? Sounds like the Taliban--LOL

The best thing about the character he played on 'Bones' is that he got killed and his body wasn't found for two weeks.

LOL!!

I thought David C. was clearly best tonight, and I hope he wins.

Same here.

“Things are too old-fashioned,” Cowell said.

The theme nights - which recently featured programs based on the music of Neil Diamond and Andrew Lloyd Webber - need to be “more current,” he said.

I’ve been saying the same thing. GMTA! LOL

I like it when the finalists sing on stage with their favorite performer. I remember Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts - do they still do that?

I found it interesting that David C. picked Switchfoot. Not that he was trying to send a message that he’s Christian, but it shows he’s a deep guy.

You’ve probably heard a couple of their songs, and don’t realize it.

And again, singing a song from an alternative group shows how versatile he is. I just can’t say it enough (do I sound like Paula) I love David’s voice.
