I think Jason is very likeable (not just trying to “all get along” here, I’ve said that from the beginning) but I don’t think has a good voice.
Having said that, I reminds me of a movie script where all of the “over achievers” on a sports team etc, are killing themselves trying to win, and a guy comes along who is laid-back or doesn’t give a rip. He ends up taking all while the others are running around in circles. LOL.

I guess we’ll never know, but we’ll just say I’m right. There. ;)

Like that? ;-) Exactly like that! (and the real thing is here already :)

Aw, heck, I'm not afraid of these nice people on this thread. I see why they are not excited by Archuleta's overearnest face and high concept song choices! Tht about him bugs me too. But he seems to have a pure, sweet soul and he can REALLY take a song and make each note perfect. He is very much the prodigy, and I don't know about you, but at 17 I too had felt enough love and pain to feel the songs he sings. I thought he was really singing Love Me Tender from the heart. I can't STAND Elvis's version of it, and I am not sure Elvis could either.
Whoops wrong song, but HILARIOUS TO HEAR Elvis unable to keep his "romantic song voice" and just cracking up for the rest of the song. For the record, I want David Cook to win -- he seems more of an all-around, emotionally fit person, and he is smokin' hot -- but Archuleta will definitely make it big too.

Ooooh drama tonight! I guess my 1,784,673 votes for Dreads paid off!

Hi everyone. Just an hour to go ...
To: Miss Didi
David A. got a late start on the beginning of the song.

Seacrest says last night was: "One of our most dramatic shows yet!"
And he adds that they received more votes last night than anytime during this season: 51 million votes.
Seacrest talks to the judges, gives Randy a chance to clarify his remarks last night, re: making Syesha cry. (that was not my intention and so forth)
Then the group song. The 4 Idols sing "Reeling In The Years". Not bad.

Did I see that right. High fives between Jason and Shy and Cook, but not Archuleta?
To: Lijahsbubbe
I think he showed that he doesn’t take this THAT seriously. Maybe just a nervous laugh off but he seemed to be the least mature contestant remaining with how he handled last night.

I agree!! I “got it” immediately with the “change” thing. She was promoting Obama on AI.
To: Miss Didi
They’re trying to create controversy or exciting Idol moments...didn’t work!
